This weekend I've been driving my way through GT7, Dirt 5, Wave Race 64 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Its been a few days since i was here. Ive been liberating a country in Just Cause 4.
It’s been all Final Fantasy VII Remake for me this past week or so. Such an absolutely fabulous job they done with this game.
I've returned to GT7 with a G29. The random oversteer is definitely a thing with a wheel. Other than that, it handles so much better.
Still plugging away at Omori, and playing a little MK8 or Pokemon Snap when I'm at the hospital.
Nice.
I'm intrigued. Tell more.
Hardly any life time this week. Played about an hour of Luigi's Mansion 3 -- I am 4 or 5 floors in. The combat controls don't work for me at all.
Whoa, a Days Gone movie? I'm on board.
There's Tiny Kin, it's like Pikmin.
Arise simple story has a demo.
Was playing Anno Mutationem last night, by GOD this game visually is my spirit animal. So good, this pixel art characters, 3d backgrounds. You can move in 3D too, in this cyberpunk world. The combat seems all right but I just enjoy exploring so far.
I started playing Moss on the Quest 2 this weekend. Despite having owned a Quest 2 for nearly a year and a half now, this is the first game I've played on it besides 'Keep Talking And No One Explodes'. The graphics are quite simple, yet clean. It really is a remarkable experience to be able to peer into these diorama like fairy tale worlds.
I still need to get used to being able to control my character with the joystick while maneouvring my hands. Whenever I pull, my brain tells my thumb to pull down on the joystick as well, which has resulted in some untimely deaths for my mouse hero.
Midgar looks absolutely fantastic. Character development, dialog, and voice acting is amazing. Combat mechanics are very fun. Everything about this game has been spot on in quality.
I can hardly imagine you'd be missing out if you didn't play the originalbefore the sequel.
Ah, I wasn't aware a sequel was in the works. I'm not certain I'll even get PSVR2 but I do like the idea of VR the diorama games.

I played Waverace 64 for the first time.
Yeah, I see the appeal.
Has a very SEGA Dreamcast vibe. If it was called Virtua Jetski it would be perfect.
No one to try the multiplayer with, I bet it made the game a lot of fun.
N64 controller was perfect for it.
Apparently some Hollywood celebrities didn't stick to the water restrictions California had imposed to combat the draught and heat. About 2000 people overshot their budget.
Sylvester Stalone used a surplus amount of 870.000 liters in June to rescue his 500 something trees.
That's just... beyond words. Even without a draught, who the hell uses over 800m³ of water a month? How can they not feel that's maybe a little bit too much?
I spoke of how our weekend out fell in the water last week. We went to a doctor yesterday, more as a precaution as the kid seemed perfectly fine. She said that if he wasn't completely better by Wednesday we should have an echo done to see if there wasn't anything else wrong. My wife, always the worrisome type, said we'd just have it done already to be sure. That was this morning.
I spent half a day in the hospital with a young kid who wasn't allowed to eat or drink as they took blood samples from him and now they want to remove his appendix because it's showing .3mm too wide on the echo while nothing else seems off.
We were going to Disneyland this weekend. We've been looking forward to it for years. Bollocks.
Fuck, man. I'm sorry. My son had a health issue this summer that turned out to be nothing, an expensive nothing that I hope teaches him a lesson. He was dehydrated and still did not drink enough water even after his dad kept nagging him to drink fluids. He fainted after a day of being outside and we ended up in the hospital because there was a concern that he actually had a seizure. Nope, just wasn't drinking enough water.
