Just saw the full list of games the Sega Mini 2 is getting and the Japanese version kind of squashes the Western version. West isn't getting any of the working designs games. But at least they found a way for us still enjoying night trap...

Unfortunate. There were some great Working Design games. Still tons of great games on there.

Playing Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade + Intermission on the PS5 and what an awesome game it is. Looks fantastic and the gameplay mechanics are quite fun. There’s a ton of dialog and really good character stuff in here. Also loving the sheer speed of the loading on the SSD. Load times are practically nonexistent.

Well, that was the shortest weekend out ever.  We had a weekend planned with a couple of friends and their kids, something we do yearly and look forward to immensely.  The youngest got sick this morning, so we had to leave as to not risk spreading whatever it is he has.

I really, REALLY, needed a weekend out with friends.  And the little brat seems to have mysteriously got better the moment our car drove off the rental house's driveway.  Kid doesn't even have the decency to keep feeling misserable.

At least our eldest chose to stay there for the remainder of the weekend.

Wave Race 64 still holds up nicely. "MAXIMUM POWER!"  I wish Nintendo would revive this series or at least remake the original and/or remaster Blue Storm for Switch.

It seems like Nintendo has lost interest in all its racing franchises except for Mario Kart. It's a shame, because Excitetrick, waverace, fzero and 1080 were all excellent. Save for 1080 Avalanche, that was utter crap.

I intend to play it on the original hardware in the next hour.  I have a boxed copy, never opened it. I did enjoy Waverace on the Gameboy, I played the shit out of back in the day.

And sports too (at least ones that don't have Mario in the name). I'd love Nintendo to return to that kind of diversity of release.

I gave my sister my PS4 Pro. So far she's bought several Lego games that are on sale now. She only had an original Wii, so this is a massive upgrade for her. And a bit of a learning curve too.
