Would like to get Live-A-Live myself but have a few other purchases that I’d like to make first.
Yeah different kinds of shows but I still think we will get that epic crazy epsiode with everything coming to a head in one of these.
MGS V is just packed with so much to do. I love managing the base.
Yeah, really enjoyed the game myself as well.
I'm still playing The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Each game has 5 cases. I'm 3 cases into the second game. I'm currently at 65 hours, this game is a beast, it will probably breach 80 hrs of gameplay.
They did a voice acted segment of the game, (not the 2d Anime cutscenes) it was so good to hear the characters voiced with lip synching . Then after the cutscenes it goes back to beep beeps. So sad.
GTA VI is going to costar a woman and be set in Miami.
I’m definitely down with that. It’s about time they mix things up.
I completely agree. I'm ready for something new though I would like them to set it in a city Ive been to. How about New Orleans?
Are those games any good?
I will say that the first 10 hours were pretty freaking amazing though. The game took place during the Civil Rights era in a New Orleansesque city. That setting and the presentation really elevated it from a lot of other open world games.
The repetition did get to me though, which is why I hung it up after a while. But if you can get it free through PS Plus or game pass, I would recommending spending some time with it.
Mafia 2 is best, then 3, then 1. They are all good in the same way The Saboteur was, kind of slightly off-kilter and interesting and memorable as a result.
That's the vibe I am getting.
I'll check today to see if they are onnthe game pass.
I am very happy with that. Obviously I love Vice City, they say they will include surrounding areas which basically means swamps and ocean, probably the keys. One rumor says you can go to Cuba. Female Cuban protagonist is awesome, she will be a feisty one. Really curious to see how well they capture the Cuban community and if they are going to go into any of the insane politics we have done here, they are brainwashed levels of Republican supporters who strangely vote for power hungry wannabe dictators even though their entire life was changed because of escaping a power hungry dictator. It's the most absurd dynamic and makes for some good satire for GTA.
I am interested in revisiting Miami with a more accurate depiction of the city and surrounding areas. There was a rumor that we would see Cuba snd even Brazil. Maybe take a boat to Cuba.
So I tried Multiversus, the WB fake Smash game, it's an open beta right now. On one hand I can see they are serious in making a great clone of smash and are putting a lot of care into the mechanics and characters. But there is this layer of F2P nonsense that sours the experience for me. First the menu looks like every F2P game these days, it's depressing how uniform it has all become. You have your log in info, daily challenges, battle pass, the in game store, everything is designed to give you small rewards but encourage you to spend real money for the good stuff.
The gameplay is very smash, the controls are almost the same but this games hook is that you play in pairs and characters have different moves that help defend another character. There seems to be cooldowns and even buffs for every special in game and this leads to the clear infiltration of F2P mechanics into what could have been a great smash clone. Some of these buffs give you things like a triple jump rather than a double (very important when falling off a level), specials have all kinds of cool downs that can be buffed to be shorter giving players who pay for this crap an advantage. Also as good as a clone this game is there feels like a slight delay in the action. Smash is super responsive so I noticed immediately when my specials and jump attacks kind of felt slow. It still feels fun but a slight step down from the smoothness of what's clearly the gold standard.
It's a shame the game has all these extra F2P mechanics cause the gameplay is fun and the characters are really creative. Bugs summons cartoon safes to fall on people, he can burrow underground and his partner can use those holes as a sort of teleporting system. Taz does all the usual whirlwind destruction stuff. Arya Stark has a bunch of cool swords attacks and spells, kind of Marth like. Batman has all his gadgets, sort of feels like solid snake. I could only try them all out in the tutorial. In actual play only like 3 of them are playable, not sure if that's cause of the beta or this game will make me pay to unlock characters. Not sure if I'll play much of this, oh the one level I saw was super boring and I didn't see any items or much of any background interaction but I don't know if that's how the whole game is. Crazy thing is I bet this game is hugely successful and in time we will get ridiculous reports of F2P smash clone generating a billion dollars for WB.
This is perhaps the most factually incorect thing ever posted on the internet.
You gave Mafia 2 a 6/10 which on your scale is GOTY.
