There's so much new stuff. But you probably won't see it as the new items every day.I have all sorts of construction equipment, vehicles, new crops and fancy pottery,couches and beds.
Obviously there's tons more content for more runs.
Really like the game. Love the synth music, colour palette and art style. Situations you get into are very interesting.
Regarding download games for instance the Wii eshop died before I was able to transfer all my VC stuff to wii u.
Even Nintendo customer support couldn't really help.
Now I've got like over 500gb of download software on my switch split over a couple of sd cards.
So for the future I thought near the end life of the eshop I'd get another card and back everything up.
Now I'm remembering that these games will only play on my current switch?
Or if I get a new switchnyears in the future cause the old one dies and put the sd card in, it won't work. As the games are tied to the old system?
What do you mean with 'second run'? Do you lean second character you play as?I think I had played as 6 or so people when I reached the end of the game. I think I saw about 80% of the content..
Yeah probably screwed for the Wii and Wii U stuff as Nintendo tied one’s games to a specific system. I think the Switch stuff should be fine though as I think now things are account based. I could be wrong though, not really sure but thought I heard things along that line before.

I'm talking 10 years or more from now. When the switch shop and probably account services too are dead.
If my current switch dies. I can't just get a new switch and plug the sd card in. It won't work, unless the account system is still active, no?

So Sony unveiled their amazing plan to combat gamepass and it's nothing. Basically merging PS Now with PS PLus and adding a tier for a bunch of old games. They didn't show us any of the potential games, if old games would be upgraded or anything of the sort. No new first party games on the service. Basically this is for retro gaming and gamepass is for gaming now. I will pass on this. If I ever do want to play something I will pay the month and play it. It's a great option to have and they claim to have 700 games so as just a form of preservation iota great to have games available. PS3 will be streaming only so maybe MGS4 gets to live on.
BOTW2 delayed, figured. I am still terrified about them including the old map. Even if it's a bunch of new content there, it took like 150 hours to explore just all that, am I supposed to explore all that over again PLUS a whole sky map? Maybe it's not what it seems, it's just a game that suffered from repetition basically having a chunk of the game literally be a repeat area is not a good sign. Also still no mention of real dungeons. It's going to be 6 years since BOTW so this game better have some wild groundbreaking mechanics or something to justify the amount of time they are taking.
Honestly I think you're going to be fine. So long as you don't try to switch accounts or anything like that there's no reason to think they won't be able to support your library. The Switch has been a beast, and I'm sure whatever comes next they will ensure it's compatible.
I still have Wii games that I transferred from Wii U to another Wii U, and that was part of a much more archaic transfer system. Each time customer service ultimately just had me verify information and then did it themselves for me. With the current account system you should be fine.
