Just recruited Mothman to my party in SMTV. Loved the dialog. He asked me who I was so I told him I’m a protagonist. He said no one gives a shit about a protagonist and that side characters were where it’s at and that he’s the best in the biz. He then told me to recruit him already so that we can fuck this quest up. Gold!
The funniest thing in SMTV is when you start talking to a demon and another demon in your party barges in and starts talking to them. Those conversations are an absolute riot.

You have to have the to correct demons in order for the conversation to play out, so unless you go specifically looking for it it's going to just be pure luck. I think I encountered four of them over the course of the 70 hours or so that I played.
I started the tutorial of Gungeon yesterday. I liked what i played so far. We are having an ice storm here at the moment. Hopefully, the power will stay on.
I can't stop playing but I can only make it 3 levels down.
It's so addictive yet maddening. So far every Dungeon run is different. Sometimes they'll pummel you on the first floor.
They started introducing mini bosses, unlike normal bosses there is no Life bar so I can't tell how close they are to death.
There's hardly any hearts to recover in the game and you have to buy them from the shop. That's okay but this gimp wants a stack of cash plus 3 keys to rig the elevator to skip floors. So getting 150 plus 3 keys is something I'm finding it tough to do.
Some of the weapons are awesome. Some are damp squibs.
I find this bit of news to be great. First of all I find it great that there is a war game where part of the playbase choses to work logistics, farming for material to create the actual guns and ammo required by those fighting at the frontline. I also find if hilarious that these gamers are now on an in-game strike because of how absurdly complex and time consuming their gameplay has become, thus causing the actual frontline players to be stiffled in their enjoyment.
Since I was starting to save keys, I started shooting chests. Sometimes they are monsters who will attack you. Normal chests can turn into junk. I collected 3 junks and it made a little junk buddy to assist me.
One time I got gold junk and a mech junk buddy spawned and devestated the boss.
The modifiers and items are awesome. I got a jetpack, freeze bullets. Spread bullets, fast bullets. Etc.

Ah, ok. I did get one last night. I have a tall very thing dog like creature and when I got into a battle with a big creature that looks like he was made of folded up paper he just jumped out and started talking to him.
It's not too hard when you actually open the chests for weapons. I was using my pea shooter and saving keys to pay the lift mechanic.
I went into a Dungeon room and they had a multicoloured chest and about 8 guns came out. So I've unleashed everything and been destroying bad guys and bosses.
Came across a minecart section where you move along invisible rails and have to flip between carts.
The Activision deal is still kind of making my jaw drop. Microsoft now has exclusivity for game pass on Call of Duty, all of Blizzard's IP's and what is probably the biggest mobile game in the world with Candy Crush.
This has got to be the biggest acquisition in the history of gaming. I've read a few things already of people saying they've overpaid by 20 billion, but I don't think I believe that.
But, if MS owns everything then what will keep them from hiking the price of Game Pass?
. They will, but I don't think you'll see it anytime soon. They're probably going to go to the Netflix route, and keep very stable pricing for about a decade and then start doing incremental increases every year or every other year.
Is huge news. I wonder if Sony will start a high profile shopping spree to counter MS's recent acquisitions. Next gen could see a lot more exclusives.
I also don't think MS will aggressivel raise GamePass pricing. They're earning about 360 million a month through it at the moment. That's the lifetime sales of a big triple A game every month. And that number will only rise further with cloud gaming and as they constantly add more and more games to draw in more and more people.
It's kind of pathetic in a way too. It's like after 20 years they've finally admitted they can't crack the home console market, so they decided to just go out and actually buy it.
I don't think Ms will insist all Activision games to become exclusives. They seem to care more about making money than selling Xbox's these days and there's more money to be made from keeping the game multiplat.
But... The games will be included on GamePass, or $70 on PS.

Nice. Looking forward to seeing that.

Players refuse to restock frontline of wartime MMO Foxhole in protest over state of game

It's certainly a big acquisition for CoD alone. It even includes Tony Hawk and Crash. Pretty big deal for Microsoft and Game Pass.
But, if MS owns everything then what will keep them from hiking the price of Game Pass?

Nintendo probably couldn't care less.
Yeah that news is crazy indeed. Wonder if Sony will just try and work out a deal with Microsoft and get some form of Game Pass on PlayStation.
It's kind of pathetic in a way too. It's like after 20 years they've finally admitted they can't crack the home console market, so they decided to just go out and actually buy it.
Maybe just to screw Sony over?
Now Bethesda and Activision are MS exclusive? That's bad for the industry imo. Less choice.
But... The games will be included on GamePass, or $70 on PS.
