You guys heard of Beyond Blue? Saw a video review last night. Its short but looks like a worthy Endless Ocean experience.

Finished Secret Files Tunguska.

It got better as it progressed but then started introducing a lot of random logic to its item combinations. And also got to a point where it didn't offer a gentle nudging hand.

Thankfully all Animation Arts games on switch have an in built guide so it's fairly painless when you get stuck.

Also really appreciate the true one handed pointer controls.

The game has some really sexist moments where the main characters response to these lewd comments isn't to challenge them but have a Marilyn Monroe type, willful ignorance.

What hurt the game most is the forced letterboxed format, which the sequels don't have.

The ending is actually pretty funny, adding comedic what happen Ed next stories to all the side characters. And even film fake bloopers. If there was more comedy in the actual game it would have been good.

Starting the sequel on the Great Ace Attorney game tonight. Working on a Sunday, 😑

Had the chance to try some Forza horizon demos, didn't like it. Feels very sterile. Saw the new one on YouTube, similar. I love arcade racers, boosting, smashing other cars, being chased by cops. Have you tried Asphalt 9? It's free.

Omg I wish you the best.

Forza grows on you, there is so much to do. The world so beautifully diverse. It's impressive. We need to make a convoy to play online. Who here is playing FH5?

I wish. They fused the two bones together, eliminating the joint between them altogether. Once healed, I won't be able to bend that toe in the middle. It won't affect my walking but no more picking up pencils off the floor with my toes. Pain should be gone too.

They should have fused the toes together so that you had superhuman swimming ability!

Hope it does inded reduce your pain.

Damn, hope it's nothing that serious!

Thanks, Fooz! Superhuman swimming wouldn't do me much good, I don't like being in or on water. Then again, maybe that ability would assuage my fears?

GG, I hope your health concerns are nothing serious as well.

I'm having a lot of fun replaying KOTOR on Switch. I want to play more Civ 6, but KOTOR keeps me from it.

Is the switch KOTOR a remastered version or the old one from the Xbox days?  I have it on Series S.

I believe they used the PC version as the basis for the Switch remaster. it runs in full widescreen too.

So Bethesday once again rereleased Skyrim. Why don't they remaster Morrowind and Oblivion for modern consoles? I'd buy them.

Started The Great Ace Attorney on Switch. Looks great and it's something of an experience playing this game on the big screen.

What feels weird? Well, the lack of voice acting. Virtually all the graphic adventures I play have voice acting. Having the traditional Phoenix Wright bleeps and bloops at this point feels very old hat.

The game has a text autoplay feature so you don't have to constantly press a button to advance to the next bit if text. But without voice acting the game seems to run and run with you doing very little and the lack of voice acting stands out like a sore thumb.

It also seems (in the first case) to go out of its way to teach you or tell you how to examine testimony etc. This being my 6th Ace Attorney game, I really don't need or want to go through this again and certainly don't need the reams of dialogue - often repeating itself - reminding me that (eventually, when the game allows me to) after a lot (more dialogue about how to press) I can actually do it. Rather than reading about it.

I was, before playing the game, worried that the new world and characters meant it wouldn't feel like Phoenix Wright.

I had no need to worry, there are so many familiar elements and the style is still classic Phoenix Wright.
