The no or hardly any effect was Silent Hill Shattered Memories.
I also got a bunch of games thrown in, most of which I do not care for. Sports games and a UFC game, but, Borderlands 1 and 2 was in the pile.
I've flirted with the idea of getting them of Switch. For some reason the artstyle put me off. And I really didn't understand at a glance what kind of game it was. Is it an rpg/fps hybrid, or an online co-op game?
Then all 3 games are going to be released in physical form, separately too. Wtf
R.I.P. Norm Macdonald.
Loved him on SNL, hilariously funny guy. Passed away from cancer at the age of 61.
They're looter shooters. You shoot things, you get better guns, you shoot bigger things. BL1 isn't all that great, but 2 is really good. It's very funny and over the top. Like Monster Hunter, they're games you can play alone, but become better in co-op.
So apparently the GCN turned 20 yesterday. Great console with awesome games from a time where making games was still cheap enough to allow larger publishers to take risks and do some zany stuff.
GameCube is definitely my favourite Nintendo console after the Wii.
Messed around with the shop, fairly disappointed with it. As there were so many great games on 360 I had this expectation that it would have a ton of great content. But there's not that much. Only 100 demos? And the games are still all overpriced.
Stuff like OG Banjo Kazooie £10.
And I even checked games which I've seen or owned on sale on switch versus 360 versions and most were double or triple the price. I can walk into a 2nd hand game shop and get some of these games for a pittance.
Meh! My digital hobo dream is dead.
Norm RIP
GameCube 20th anniversary!! Thinking back what an excellent console. It was the last time Nintendo was cutting edge with graphics. They had some great first party stuff in WW, TP, Sunshine, Pikmin, Smash Melee, and of course the Metroid Prime games. Incredible second and third party games in Eternal Darkness, Rogue Squadron, MGS TS, Sonic games, PSO episode 1 and 2, and of course the capcom exclusives none bigger than RE which includes one of the greatest of all time RE4. I know it was only exclusive for a few months but still the better version. Oh and that controller is still the only way to play smash.
Still playing a bunch of Genshin, really fun time sink. The time sink is the problem but it's all new content. There is so much to do it's insane. I haven't even reached the new world area they recently opened.
Happy 20th Anniversary Game Cube. Had a really good time with it playing quite a few great games on it.
Checking out some games, found an Alan Wake dlc code in my used game case, it worked 👍
The Rage one didn't. Also Rage says to install to HDD, its 3 discs, but after disc one it just said it was installed and there was no prompt or option to install the rest.
I played a bit of the first Borderlands, it seemed ok. Played through all of the second one though and really enjoyed that one quite a bit. It was really very humorous especially the little robot sidekick who’s name escapes me right now.
Claptrap
Yeah, him too.
Yay! I finally made it to the point in the Xbox One version of Dragon Quest XI S Definitive Edition that I’m at in the Switch version. I’m at the end part of Rab’s bit after the party gets separated after the big World Tree event. Not sure how much left I have to go but this is one lengthy game. Let’s see if I can finally finish it now.
GG, all three(actually four) Borderlands games are a lot of fun with 2 being the best of the series. You can't go wrong especially in co-op. They are quite lengthy so there's a lot of value. I'd be tempted to buy them again if you did. I think we could co-op with Series S and 360.
Yeah, we just started 3 now that crossplay is finally enabled, and the characters you can pick from are definitely a step down from BL2. Not quite convinced by their skill trees either.
