For an exclusive game to run that poorly, is unexcusable, IMO.
Docked its 720p,so it could run fine portable if they didn't limit the CPU and gpu in portable mode. Part of why I loved XCX was that I could instantly flip between TV and handheld. Same for Skyrim, its the only way i can put so many hours into a big rpg. BTW I'm at 1117 hours in Animal Crossing. I just check for redd every damn day.
Finished Leisure Suit Larry Wet Dreams don't dry. It was excellent, I'm about to start the epilogue. It's probably as fun as Deponia if not more so and better than the other (still great) graphic adventures I've played on Switch.
Trying to get through After party, I started using my phone to read the Internet while it babbles pointless shit in the background. If it was £2,okay. It was closer to £7 and its annoying shit. Who wrote this? The dialogue is inane.
There's no power state for portable play when plugged in because you can't control the circumstances. Someone could rest the console flat on a sofa between a bunch of pillows, unknowingly overheating the console to breaking point. And then go online and complain about it.

If they're that stupid they deserve a broken console. Why not have an alarm or auto shut off if things overheat then? Or like my phone if the camera detects something too close it won't let you use the touchscreen. Put a sensor by the vents, if they are blocked, bleep a fucking alarm.
Finished After party, same devs as Oxenfree but a faaaaar worse game. It descended into an intervention against alcoholic Satan. That might sound interesting but this is flat out boring. Seriously the game needs an autoplay option cause all you do is press the stick in one direction and occasionally press B. Meanwhile you're pummelled with some of the most brain rotting garbage the world has ever seen. It's like a bunch of snarky college students chatting endless shit. I give this game a 3/10!!
The Way is a really compelling game. I haven't been able to put it down till now. The puzzles can be a touch complex but the problem is the controls for these puzzles, using dual stick when you really need mouse or touchscreen support. It just compounds the frustration. The game has 2d temples which are much like mini 2d Zelda dungeons. When it all works and you figure things out it's really satisfying. £0.79 for this game, y'all should pick it up.
I've been struggling a bit with Skyward Sword, and I think I finally figured out my gripe with it. I don't know if this changes later in the game, since I'm probably only 10 or 12 hours in, but this is just about a nonstop puzzle solving game.
Normally you've got an overworld that's focused around exploring, and then dungeons or temples or labyrinths or whatever they're called in that game are puzzle-based. This time they did that with the entire world, with the exception of the sky, which really doesn't have that much going on anyway. I need a fucking break!!!
The game is very much the polar opposite of Breath of the Wild, and comparing the two I definitely prefer Breath of the Wild.
It's pretty amazing to see how this game birthed BOTW. SS was too far an extreme into linear Zelda, BOTW I feel was an over correction.
Funny you should say that as I was going to specifically recommend it to you. It's old school and pretty hardcore in many ways but the instant and unlimited respawns help a lot. I've been reading up on it and when it originally released it got a bad reception cause it was too tough. And the remastered edition brought it easier check pointing. It's actually really good, when everything is flowing well. With a few small tweaks such as a hint system and the option to skip too difficult bits and it would be a great game. It's still a great game, but one people will have to accept it can be difficult. Even so, it's often on sale for less than a dollar. So nothing to lose and its around 7 hrs long.
OMG, Forgotten Anne is on sale I've been waiting for ages. It's only £6.79 on Switch. This is the game that feels like a 2D Studio Ghibli film. There's a demo, the game is on multiple platforms. Try it out guys.
So it looks like The Last of Us 2's online mode is getting leaked out and it's shaping up to be a Battle Royal mode. Bleh. Factions was such a unique play mode, I was sure they would bring it back for another round and maybe just refine it a bit. I guess potentially they could still do it with larger maps, but that would drag the pace of it down to a crawl. Small maps were kept the fighting interesting.

That's really disappointing considering how cool factions was.

Completed The Way Remastered. Wow, it gave me that same feeling as waiting in Anjus house in Majaoras Mask as the moon descended to destroy the town. Can't believe I made it through. It's a game I'll never forget, it starts with a man digging up his wife's grave to transport to an alien planet to discover the secrets of immortality. The art is fantastic, the audio quality (through headphones) is some of the best I've ever heard. The HD rumble is the best I've felt on switch. Even the process of endlessly dying and trying again and again to resurrect your dead wife, gives the game an emotional weight when you get to the end. Yes the game has its flaws but overall I enjoyed it greatly.

Interesting, I'll check it out

Battle Royale, with cheese, for everyone!
Cyberpunk is $10 at Best Buy. That's certainly worth it.
Nah, I've got plenty of beverage coasters.

Alright fine, you two can miss out on the buggy, messy fun that only a few of us were lucky to experience.
But it doesn’t have a Battle Royale mode so no deal!
Battle Royale is SO 2021. These days you need an Among Us mode to be cool.
Damn you kids and your fancy schmancy fads. Always moving too fast for me.
