Even more fun is researching the hidden world of graphic adventure games on switch. There's tons of stuff, some familiar, most I've never heard of before. Here's a good summary article of a few. Best thing is you know it's going to be cheap in the sales. Syberia 2 is like £1.60. https://www.gamepressure.com/games/switch/point-and-click/

Just finished Super Hot. It is one of the most innovative shooters I've played.

I've been looking into getting some old games on steam. I tend to get a new laptop or tablet every few years. Is your account persistent, so if I get a new device can I login and re-download my games? What happens if you buy a game that doesn't work properly on your device?

Yes your account is fully portable, you can install steam on as many pc's as you want and download your library.

Steam does have a refund policy, but it is limited.

The refund policy is a 2 hour window, the reasoning being that that should be enough to check if the game properly runs on your setup.

I vastly prefer gog.com for older PC games. They are all DRM free, and work correctly on modern PCs with little to no fiddling.

My mate and I tried fighting a furious Rajang and pissed off brachiados yesterday. Boy, did they send us carting fast.

If only there was someone with over 1000 hours in MHW who could give us some advice...

Boy, someone like that would be invaluable indeed. Nyaa

Yeah those two can dish out some serious damage indeed. I always equip for maximum health, maximum damage resistance, and maximum divine blessing. I then try to work in whatever specific defences I may need like blast resistance against Brachiados. I usually eat for defense as well. I like to use the Vitality mantle and the Invincibility one. As you can tell I take comfort in knowing that I can afford a few hits. LOL

Being an Insect Glaive user I like to jump in and out a lot, preferably while the monster is focused on other players. I’m always flying in trying to mount the monster. Clutch claw is good too especially to wall slam them. Rajang is pretty difficult to this to though because he’s so quick and jumpy.

I used to always strive for builds that could take a lot of damage, but since things were going well I started favouring offence lately.  I have max defense up and 2 divine blessing.  I'll look into raising my health.

Fighting Rajang's is no mean feat with a hammer.  They're just too fast to get decent damage in and they're near impossible to mount with the clutch claw.  It also doesn't help that the Furious Rajang is in the hoarfrost reach, which has very few sloped area's.  A lot of my damage output relies on slopes for affinity sliding and jump damage.  I can usually get in 5x 100 damage with my spinning jump attack while sliding.

GOG is superior in all ways except for sales. And their sales are still incredible.

There's a switch graphic adventure called Little Acres, it got good reviews and is only £0.99 in the sale. Got it, looks pretty nice.
