I got a chance to play something again and it felt good. I'm clearing out hordes in Days Gone. What once seemed impossible, now feels like something I can do 100 percent. Love this game.
Oh I was in on the whole GameStop craze, got in too late though, here is hoping there is one more pump this week. It’s also horrible how corrupt the entire system is.
Nice.
A new year, new rumours of new Nintendo hardware.
So what do you guys think, will their next piece be a straight up Switch 2, or will they top over the table again and come with something different?
I’m thinking that there may just be an upgrade to the Switch dock that will increase the display image to a TV.
Nintendo have been obsessing over modularly adding processor power to their consoles (see all the strange ports that riddle the bottoms of their home consoles), but it never amounted to nothing. Would the USB-C connection on the Switch even be fast enough for something like an external second GPU? Perhaps they could use some form of Nvidea's DLSS AI upscaling, but I don't think that would even require extra hardware.
That would be an interesting proposition though. Nintendo is the only manufacturor using Nvidea components and it's a technique AMD has no answer to at the moment. I just googled it and it seems that they've updatedSHIELD devices to use some form of AI upscaling. Since those use the same chipset as Switch it's a reasonable idea. Of course Nintendo could chose to only use the technique in a renewed design, requiring minimal extra grunt for a maximum in added perceived performance.
I think something is up with the dock because it appears to have been out of stock for awhile now. I’m guessing that any kind of announcement won’t happen until after their fiscal year so probably in April sometime.
They've never truely been in stock if you ask me. It could mean something, but it could also just be Nintendo realising that the market for secondary docks is pretty small.
Yeah and I doubt it would be something that anyone really needed to get replaced either. Well there goes my theory then.
Nice to see Capcom acknowledging the fan thirst for the tall lady in Resident Evil Village.
Glad to hear that you and your mother have seem to pulled through this GG. Wishing you both a speedy recovery.
That's great, GG! Hope you and your mother's recovery continues rapidly.
It will be a switch pro for sure, just an upgrade. Got some insider info on the new RE game for switch called Outrage, it should be a year exclusive and might make good use of that pro switch if it's out in time. Expect the game to be looking more like RE5/6 than 7/8.
GG I am glad to hear you and your mom are doing better. This virus is a piece of shit that does horrible things, stay diligent and keep checking up as this bastard can leave some problems in its wake. Here is hoping you are clean and done with it for now. For everyone else, when you can get vaccinated as soon as you can, I already got mine.
Nice. I like the sound of that. Both the Switch Pro and the new Resident Evil game.
I wonder how much of an upgrade it'll be. I'm still perfectly happy with the current model. Of course, the joycon sticks can go do one.
