I enjoyed the story aspect the most and the puzzles were pretty neat too. Like Robio said about the difficulty I got really stumped as well. I played on Normal and never finished the game. Actually got very close to it but hit a brick wall near the end. When I start up the Switch version I very much will be dropping that difficulty.
Now Doom on the other hand, MY GOD ITS PURE ADRENALINE INJECTED STRAIGHT INTO YOUR SKULL AS YOU MACHINE GUN A DEMON UP ITS ASS! Its better than 4 in almost every way. It also has some Mario Galaxy in it, some minor platforming mixed with non stop action. Its so damn great.
Panzer Dragoon remake is out but $25 for an hour long game is a pass for now. Will try that Bravely demo. I wish there was more to that direct,
Panzer Doom, I don't know, I skimmed.
Playing both. Doom is winning. Im an action junky. That said I think about my experience in HL ALyx more. VR is a powerful thing.
Thanks for impressions. What rig are you playing it on?
I was flabbergasted however to find those games, PN03 and Ikaruga, missing from my GC collection. It was then that I remembered I had lent out my GC along with some games to a close friend many years ago. Thinking back, he probably only returned the 'cube itself, and not the fine selection of games I hade introduced him to.
Which led me to boot up Wargroove on the Xbone once more, for some good not advance wars. Being an MS product, the Xbone refused to load the game, even after restarting the whole system.
On to plan D: finally starting Hellblade on the Xbone. I played about an hour I'm guessing and so far the game is less unsettling then I imagined. The game, and certainly Sensua herself looks gorgeous, although there is a clear divide between character detail and the quality of the animation. This is not a game I can play in long stretches, so I'll probably enjoy it in hour long sessions over the coming week.
