Happy Half life day! A new half life game is out!!!
Doom is fantastic. I will start HL when I get home, exciting times for games. We need them more than ever now that the world is shit.
You forgot Animal Crossing...lol. Check out Aspros Wii games thread for some cool recommendations.

AC sold triple the amount of boxed copies of Bethesda's multi-platform Doom Eternal, which had longer on sale. in the UK
(In fact, as GamesIndustry.biz noted, it managed a launch sales total bigger than all other Animal Crossing releases combined.)
And all of this is without digital sales numbers, which Nintendo will likely comment on in due course.
and rightfully deserved, since doom is shit
I would be so depressed right now if it weren't for Animal Crossing.

Now mail them to notify them about my hairy coconuts.
They are on the beach, on full display. You can play with them and drink from them.
We also got a first look at the third Bravely Default game, Bravely Default 2. It looks pretty bland if you ask me, the hand drawn setpieces exchanged for a recognizable yet much more sterile 3D rendition. Everything looks too glossy as well, although this seems to be the trend with Japanese developers these days.
Will definitely be downloading the demo though.
That's cool. I've never played Catherine.
Don't forget about X-Com 2 and Good Job!
It's a peculiar game. Combination of an anime drama and really freaking hard puzzle game. if I can pass on one recommendation, don't let anyone see you playing it.
Have the 360 version of Catherine and really enjoyed it. Will pick up the Switch version for the extra content. I’m really looking forward to playing through Xenoblade Chronicles again on the Switch. Enjoyed Bravely Default on the 3DS so looking forward to the sequel on the Switch. I downloaded the demo and will try it out later on.
What did you liek about it. I never bought it based onthe platforming and criticism thereof.
While you asked Archie, I'll just pretend you asked us both. The game is very unique. Both in terms of it's story revolving around the doubts of a young man who is doubting wether to fully commit to his relationship or give up on it, as well in ithe gameplay. I didn't find the puzzle segments to be all that hard really. Sure, later on there are a few that require some trial and error, but nothing too off putting. And sometimes you'll just get lucky and wonder how the hell you managed to overcome that hard bit you were struggling with earlier. I did play on easy mode though, that allows you to undo some of your moves if you accidentally push a block or come to regret an action the moment you performed it.
There's a nice Switch Lite bundle available at the moment... A blue Switch light, an admiral amiboo, 3 AC amiibo cards, an AC pouch for the Switch an a copy of Animal Crossing for €265.
With how my Switch is currently being hogged by everyone in my family except me, that's looking mighty tempting.
I usually don't bother with easy modes, but here the game made it clear that the only difference was that you could 'undo' some actions. Made the game much more malleable, even if I didn't use it much.
Hows the new world everyone. Staying inside, playing games I hope. So I am almost done with HL Alyx which is easily the most polished VR game ever made but it is clearly a watered down version of HL as the action is toned down a ton, AI super simplistic, combat very easy and less variety in situations. It counters this with incredible immersive controls and world that is very interactive but strangely not as interactive as HL2 was, there is a lack of physics based puzzles which I would have thought would fit perfectly in VR. Its a more horror style approach and in Vr its extremely effective. When the game is on at its best it creates moments that are impossible outside of VR. And I hear the ending is absolutely bonkers so I should experinece that tonight with a very long detailed review that will sound more negative than it should be mostly cause I will be analyzing the game as compared to HL2.
