I am seriously turning into an old man. I spent a couple hours with Dragon Quest Heroes 2 this morning and I had to put it down. The game was literally making me nauseous. The camera is extremely loose and fast when it turns and I think I was getting motion sickness from it.
This is actually the second game I've gotten motion sickness from. It happened with the horseback riding in Red Dead Redemption, and that was really more of a headache than anything else. This is full-on nausea. Had to run to the bathroom and almost threw up in there. That's when I turned it off.
It's going to be a real shame I don't get to play DGH2. I really enjoyed the first one. No issues with the first one either, but I also don't remember the camera being so freaking fast either.
The only motion sickness I had playing games was Mirror's Edge.
I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often because I get motion sickness very easily I just look at a ride at an amusement park and start feeling sick.
I get motion sickness while gaming from time to time. It’s not really all that often though thankfully.
The only videogame related motion sickness I got was playing SSX3 with an ear infection.
