Well I’m not.
The twitter guy who has leaked accurate info has been issued a cease and desist by Nintendo lawyers.
He leaked the Square Enix stuff:
- Secret of Mana Collection
- Final Fantasy 8 Remaster
- The Last Remnant für Switch
- Romancing Saga 3
- Saga Scarlet Grace Ambitions
- Trailer zu Oninaki und FFXIV Shadowbringers
I watched the XboX Project Scarlett trailer
And left none the wiser. WTF? Was there more shown somewhere else? A bunch of peeps waxing on in general about not much of anything talking about chips?
I at least expected to see a picture of the console and some tech demos.
Eurogamers take:
People hoped for a name at least. A date, perhaps? A box, even just a picture of a box - you can dream, right? In the end, Microsoft gave us a lot of talking heads - talking, in all fairness, about fairly specific things - but no box. They gave us a launch window rather than a date, and the whole thing's still at the "project" stage. Project Scarlett: Holidays 2020.
Does it matter? Probably not as much as I initially thought. Just like it probably doesn't matter that most of the big games present on stage tonight were in trailer form with actual gameplay saved for another day. Some of the presentations were odd too: in the Halo Infinite trailer, Master Chief boldly walked across the length of a fairly small room, and took quite a while to do it.
What the heck is the difference between Xbox Game Pass and xcloud?
I'm not bothered to read up on this.
Microsoft teasing content for Nintendo's E3 Direct
So I posted this yesterday from my phone. Pretty weird.
Microsoft have been tweeting this:
They also tweeted their official E3 schedule and they marked the Nintendo tuesday briefing there.
That image above specifically says XB1. Wonder what's up there.
Switch has been a wasteland for me the past few months. Since I wasn't enticed to get Pokemon Lets go and Smash Bros.
But I have to admit there are a lot of games I will probably get coming up.
Hopefully they have fast tracked a metroid game too.
There are so many games added to the eshop, most of them mobile games, it's literally got so much shovelware there I can't be bothered to scroll through it.
But yeah, that list I posted I will probably get virtually all of them.
Same here about the Switch looking barren. I was pleased that my children pooled their money to buy Yoshi’s Crafted World yesterday. It’s actually quite fun and appears to have a lengthy game campaign.
"who shouted "you're breathtaking!" at Keanu Reeves. Congratulations Edgecrusher"
So Square is FINALLY remastering Final Fantasy 8? AWESOME!
I guess they managed to find the lost code, or more likely reverse the PC version like they did with FF9.
So I got this email from Shenmue 3:
Hello Everyone,
The PC Gaming Show just wrapped up with some big news for Shenmue III. The new trailer was unveiled and it was announced Shenmue III for PC will be an Epic Games Store exclusive!
Yet another game that's been available on Steam pre order for ages, turning around & going Epic only. Not a good move...on TOP of the fact that it's coming out in November sandwiched between all kinds of giant releases. This game is going to BOMB.
I like how they add the "!" at the end, like everyone is going to be excited.
Those animal pictures are awesome.
Game Pass is where you download the games to your system and play them from that.
Xcloud is playing the games via streaming.
Dats confusing. Should just be the same thing.
If you get a gamepass subscription and download a game, do you get to keep it once your subscription lapses?
You get to keep it, you just can't play it anymore
