Well I “finished” Octopath Traveler. Completed the stories of the eight characters and got the credits. This game is a beast. I hit the 100 hour mark when I finished it and I still have a bunch of side quests to do, four shrines to complete, and the final dungeon and boss to beat. Such a fantastic game. I’m hesitant to put it in my completed games list yet though as I’m thinking that I should beat the final dungeon and boss to see how it supposedly ties the characters stories together and properly finishes the game.

I just picked up something kind of cool. It's an 8bitdo Zero controller for my cell phone. The whole thing is less than 3 inches wide. It's almost too small to use, but for RPGs and games that don't require a lot of quick movements, it's just fine. Infinitely better than trying to use touchscreen controls for playing DS or other old school games. Very cheap too.

Vampyr could definitely make a great movie or show if done well. I'm almost at the end, hopefully finish it tonight.

I await the verdict.

On DQ, I've only played the original and 8. 8 is a classic, I hope 11 matches it. I think I own one on the 3DS, but never opened it...

Well you didn't have to wait long my man, because I just beat it about 45 minutes ago!

What can I say about this game other than it's a flawed, unique adventure game. The world of 1918 London is beautifully realized in this game...I mean you can feel the ambience to the point you expect to see Jack The Ripper around the next gothic corner. The game has Deus Ex's conversation and upgrade mechanics, which work really well. Combat is clunky, but it's not as terrible as you think it will be. The game can get insanely frustrating at times though, with big difficulty spikes at key points...especially if you choose NOT to feed on people to gain exp faster.

Towards the middle of the game, once you start going back and forth between the different hubs (there are 4 giant hubs that break London up) the loading times can get Prey-level bad. You also have to deal with this every time you die on a boss fight...looong loading times. Despite that though, the game is very enjoyable especially since there's not much like it. The characters are all top notch, each has his or her own story. And the story is told in a very mature, Eternal Darkness-like manner.

I give it a 7.7/10. Hope they make another one!

Very cool. Do those also work on iPad? I have Dragon Quest 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on my iPad and that would work great for them.

According to the box it does. It's a Bluetooth controller so as long as it supports that you should be good.

Turned on the 360 tonight for the first time in awhile to play a little Red Dead, and I have a message from Microsoft. I click on it and to my surprise, they gave me a free $10 coupon. Well, I'm never one to turn down free money, so I claimed it and downloaded Castlevania: Symphony of the Night straight away.

This is twice in the past year I've gotten free credits. One from Sony and one from MS. I'll take 'em!

Started playing Dying Light, and I must say it is God damn good to know that Chris Redfield is in this game to once again save me from a zombie apocalypse!

Loving it. Also love how you can second screen switch while playing Octopath. You can level up without it feeling like a chore. Been completing some side quests too and they are getting a bit more satisfying.

Playing Red Dead Redemption right now. The thought occurred to me, you know, I'd really like to make sweet sweet love to miss McFarlane. That is a damn good woman.

It still boggles my mind that Rockstar didn't release this on PC. That's another guaranteed 3 million units.
