I've been playing the shit out of Homefront: The Revolution.
Not sure how bad it was before all the patches, but now it's fantastic. It's like a perfect mix of Freedom Fighters squad based chaos and Red Faction 3's sabotage based gameplay with a dash of Metro's art style and atmosphere. This game absolutely blows the original away. Kind of hard to believe it's made by Dambuster aka Free Radical Design. While it doesn't have that old school Rare style charm that their games used to have, it's certainly cool to see them try a more serious cinematic style and really nail it. I don't even know how many of the old Goldeneye team actually still work there though...from what I've read they went through some tough times after being bought by Crytek.
This is great though. A shame so many people dismissed it.
