I'm back. Life is throwing a few curveballs at the moments, and I stayed away from most message boards and social media stuffs trying to regroup. But I saw that GAF just imploded so I figured I'd pop in and make sure no one died in the explosion.
I refuse to get my hopes up about it. That twitter post wasn't enough. Hell, it wasn't even a picture of Kain, just Razeal the ethereal douche (I wasn't a fan of his).
So the GAF story is quite interesting. Evilore sounds like a pretty awful douchebag, but like I said a few months ago in my Finding Justice blog, internet lynch mob justice always makes me nervous. With that cosplay chick, all the evidence in the world was there and I still saw stories get exagerrated about her. I'm sure it is happeneing again with this guy. Definitely seems like there's a lot of history though, so hopefully he deserves whatever he gets, though I wonder if it'll be anything more than just losing GAF. That honestly sounds like a bigger blow to the industry and culture than a blow to him. I don't know a thing about his financial situation though, so who knows?
I'm just happy we don't have to worry about picking up refugees. We are all initially Gamespot refugees who founded a small commune on a distant uninhabited island. Anarchy rules.

Seems like the girl making the shower allegations got into a physical relationship with him AFTER that. So I don't get women. Now two years later, after a breakup this comes up. I'm still sure he is an asshole but this whole thing sounds weird.
The same thing happened to one of Weinstein's victims. Some people are mentally unstable. But being honest, now that I am in my late 20s (holy shit!) I'm starting to understand that people often make very poor relationship decisions.

I basically just said that this whole sexual harrassment thing is getting out of hand in my opinion. There's enough partial nudity, flirting and sexual inuendo at parties these days (I would presume) that I don't think you'd have to be too surprised when you end up drunk in a hotel room with someone of the opposite sex, that they might try their luck, clothed or otherwise. And if you decline, having the other party turn sour doesn't qualify as sexual harrassement in my book. The fact that she was taking a shower, not vomiting in one, and that she ended up in a relationship of some sorts with this guy swiftly afterwards doesn't do her credibility much good. This guy might be an idiot, but one a case by case basis, I really don't think any harm was done here.
It's like there is no stage between 'innocent fun' and 'sexual harrassement' these days. If you step over a very unclear and personal line, willingly or by accident, all of a sudden you're a sexual offender.
Anyhow, sounds to me that NeoGaf was just looking for a way to rid themselves of this guy and this was as good a reason as any other.

I haven't even been able to log into my GAF account for 2 years since the site was hacked and I had to change my password. Then I forgot said password. And there is no recovery service since the email account I used had to be a paid one (as those were the rules at the time for membership) and I had long since abandoned the ISP who provided said email account. Sucked balls.

If this is the future of animal crossing they can shove it up their asses. I want a high quality switch game now. There was no Wii U AC game and New Leaf came out in 2012.

You got nothing to worry about. The Switch is just too damn popular. This mobile game was in development for quite a while, and is the 4th and possibly final Nintendo mobile game. Ever since the Switch started dominating Japan, you'll notice there has not been a lot of talk about Nintendo's mobile plans anymore. They might have some tie-in for this game to work with a future Switch title, but this is hardly the future for the series.
