I thought the retail joycons swapped sides? So you could get a right in blue?

I have the all grey Switch.  I was hoping they'd release all blue and all red sets.

It's actually got 4 player brawls. I need a demo really but if reviews are good I'd get it. One thing was that Edge mag cover where they said it was stunning so I am interested in seeing how it turns out.

Yeah, but still, even smash bros online is unenjoyable due to the quality of the competition.  Something like Mario Kart is much more laid back in nature.  I just don't have the time to invest in these things, nor do I feel the urge to get really competitive about it.

I left it in sleep mode. Then I was having aches and pains, woke up at 6 am and instantly jumped back into Mario kart. Completed 3 GPs 😊 Also godamn that screen is amazing. The game looks better on it than the u version did on various hdtvs. This game betters BOTW in showing off switches best features. Running two player split screen with the kickstand up with individual joycons. Just wow, it's one thing knowing that something can be done- it doesn't really hit home till you see it in front of you and see that it works.

We'll probably end up owning MK8 D at one point.  The fact that it'll allow my son to play as Bowser Junior basically justifies the asking price.

I'm actually disappointed that there isn't more lore in BOTW.  When I first saw the Duelling Peaks I thought there would be some story behind it where the mountain was split during some epic battle with Ganon or something.  Instead we got nothing.

So my new favourite thing is playing time trials in MK8 Deluxe just smashing into things so I can feel the HD rumble at play.

Some of it is hard to describe. Aside from the revving of the wheels at the start, the boosting feeling is great. There's actual depth to it, almost like you are holding a tube and can feel gas shooting down the length of the pipe.

Also you feel the bumpy ground when you go offroad, normal surfaces don't have a feeling to it sadly - because I am so good at MK, I hardly ever go off road to feel it.
