Surface kickstand and floppy keyboard is driving me mad. It's fine for a table top but for lap sitting.... ugh.
Supreme, why does the Enter button not take me down to a new paragraph? Instead it moves the cursor back to the start of the text.
Yeah, when it's in your lap the keyboard is close to your belly. Like I said, I usually recline, prop the tablet up against my legs and just have the keyboard on my belly.
Enter button never did that for me. Probably a setting somewhere. I'd google that.
Still a lot of open flatness. I'm sure they know what they're doing, but I hope they know what they're doing. Where are the strategic points to fight over?
The more I use the Surface, the more I appreciate the old Asus. The build quality is better, more rounded, nice brushed metal. The screen is actually better and brighter (I have to run the surface at max brightness to come near the asus) and the speakers are loads better. The surface speakers are a bit shitty in comparison. Windows 10 seems like Windows 8 just with the desktop mode as the default - which you can then flip back into good old W8 tablet style mode anyway.
It wasn't the Tablet portion of the Asus that was the problem, it was the dock, whose connector got worn down.
If anyone wants a good, cheaper W10 device the Chuwi Hibooks are getting great reviews and are about half the price of surfaces or less. The Hibook Pro, Hi12 and the latest model the Hi13 all got great reviews. You can get a pro for £210 including keyboard dock and it works just as good as most other W10 hybrids, better than most too.

Capcom released a bunch of scans from a design aid they've been using as a guideline for SF character design for over 20 years. Pretty cool stuff:
GameSpot gave Yooka Laylee a 6 out of 10.
Been a while since I last saw chipmunk Megatron.
