You know it might be worth contacting Nintendo all the same. They did my last repair for free. You just have to inquire about the cost, and then keep "regrettably apologizing" that the cost is just too much.

There's some new info on how ue4 works on switch on GAF. Most people are interpreting it as a good thing. It uses the full fat engine not the mobile one and seems to be able to run at mid settings in portable form

So this confused me:

Switch resolution should be 1440 p/1080 p
22.12.16 - the switch should have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (WQHD) when it is in the switch dock; take the console out of the base and it enters the handheld mode, the resolution should be 1920 x 1080 (full HD 1080 p).
Writes the Takashi Mochizuki, journalist of the Wall Street Journal, which refers to statements made by ACE Research Institute analyst Yasuda refers to.
Nintendo has still not officially announced the resolution of the switch, to appear worldwide in March 2017.

I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to resolutions. Wtf is WQHD? And why would the Switch render at 1080p in portabe mode when the screen is only 720p?
