The metroid 2 remake is fantastic! It's basically a new metroid, feels just like a Nintendo game. Fuck Nintendo for not giving us more metroid, at least we have this.

Damnit. Won so many Splatoon matches today I had to quit. It was getting too easy. 10 kills in one match with an aerospray. Dolts don't know how to play Museum Alphonsini, if you don't get up that central pillar, you're screwed. I've been taking some pics of my results, can't post them from my phone.
Played a fuckton more Splatoon. Won 75% ish of the matches. Looking at the scores kinda grinds my gears when we lose. If you factor out the massive points win bonus, I'm the highest scoring player - then I look down the list of my teamates and I'm scoring twice as much as them. And often 3x as much as our worst player.
What's more annoying is these jerks can't even fill the map with colour evenly. So I die, respawn and want to go right back to the front lines. Instead I look down at my map and see massive areas these guys haven't even covered, waaaaay before the meeting point between teams. So I've got to pick up the slack and waste time shoring these holes up.
Then there are the snipers or brush users who leave ragged horrible patchy paint paths over the map. So instead of smoothlyswimming to where you want to go you can be delayed multiple times by split seconds which give you ample time to get fucked over.
Had a great match on Moray towers, probably the best ever performance by our team. Everybody was at or around my skill level and we totally crushed it. So me and this dude buddied up and made our ascent upwards. And as a pair we were like a mini-seal team, whenever we encountered an enemy the baddie was shooting at my team member and I flanked them every time. Can't even imagine this game with voice chat, I'm glad it doesn't have that. We would get destroyed by super teams.
I find it interesting how many guys just take off and leave a ton of unpainted area right at the spawn point. I'm usually the one who stays back to cover that.
There's a good reason for that. There are choke points which give you an advantage if you get there first. If these areas get overun it can make it very hard to turn the tide of the battle. Best thing if you want to methodically paint territory properly is to use the inkstrike to hold back the enemy on the frontline.If you are not playing the metroid 2 remake you are an idiot. A brand new FREE metroid game has been released that is absolutely indistinguishable from a Nintendo game. If a nintendo 2D metroid hit yesterday you would all buy it, this is free, get it now.
If a 2D Metroid game hit yesterday then I would buy it because it would be on a platform that I play on.
My PC is ancient and slow. In fact I haven't even turned it on in well over 2 years and I rarely even used it before then.
