I'm playing through Bayonetta 2, currently at chapter 15, so I presume I'm about 3/4's in. Personally I prefer the original I think. Sure, this game is much more colourfull, with less badly drawn driving sections to break up the action, but bosses are less memorable. Inferno, while nicely done, just isn't half as interesting as the other 2 worlds, enemy design is less interesting and the extra techniques you can purchase seem to be easier and less spectacular than in the original. I just feel like I'm killing time while playing it. I let it wash over me, but I'm not sure I'm really enjoying it or just working towards the end.
Also, that enemy that turns you into a small kid version of yourself and then eats you. Fuck him.
They also said it will be "spectacular" and Take Two said they were "very excited" about NX.
I hope these guys are right.
I think Edgecrusher's trolling went under GG's radar.
Words are cheap, and even those are thin on the ground concerning the NX. Lets see who actually has stuff in development when the console is propperly announced. And God knows that even announced games doesn't guarantee the NX will receive said games in the end. The best Nintendo can hope for is port parity with the PS4, but then publishers will just port whatever old crap they have on hands and charge more for it than Nintendo does for first party games. Publishers will scream about games not selling well and will drop the NX in the blink of an eye. And then it'll be back to Nintendo, who'll take just as long to to produce games because of the even higher fidelity balancing out their restructured and streamlined workflow.
Third party developers complimenting a console doesn't mean shit. Remember all of the developers praising the Wii U prior to launch? The reality is that developers will only support the console is if its audience is present on the console.

There were a lot of developers complimentary to Wii U's tech. Shame EA canned a nearly finished Crysis 3 on Wii U. Crytek seemed to like the hardware fine.

GameSpot gave Mighty No. 9 a 5 out of 10. Such a shame.
CD Projekt RED says NX is "fantastic, spectacular" Later says his comments were blown out of proportion - "I said devs are excited"
Also he is a commuications manager Pr guy with Sega and CD Projekt Red not a developer. So he's saying the devs he knows are excited.
IGN wasn't much better. 56/100. Pretty safe to say this is not meeting a lot of people's expectations.

I hope his attention was just more spent on Recore because I'm looking forward to that a hell of a lot more anyway. It also makes me hopeful because Inafune has some of those veteran Retro Studios guys making the game.
