I can't entirely say it's untrue.. I do collect giant tentacles.
Quite a few Wii U games let you output audio to the gamepad, you could just plug headphones into the gamepad for any game that is mirrored or others like Splatoon for instance will output audio to the gamepad as soon as you plug headphones into the U pad. In XCX you just have to flick that button for offscreen play, you can still play on the tv but the audio will run to the U pad.
Splatoon really does have to work on their rank matching system. It seems to me half the time when I connect to rank battles I either constantly win games all the time or constantly lose them. Things have gotten a bit better since Rank Battles have came on the seen, but not by a whole lot.

You mean how they match people in turf wars, compared to how they matchmake in ranked battles?
If you lose or win constantly isn't that because of your team and performance? What is the problem exactly?
