Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAll this Splatoon promotion is having the opposite effect on me. Putting me off it even more. I wish they would instead put some money and effort into promoting games like Project STEAM instead of sending them out to die.

Splatoon looks far more mass market friendly.
I wonder if Project Steam just too American to have success anywhere else? Did Abraham Lincoln just turn everyone off? I mean after its first weeks of launch, I think more kids go to my kid's school than have played it in all of England and Japan combined. Maybe Ubisoft had it right, in that if you have a historical American president in the game you better make him evil or everyone else is going to ignore it.

There's a bit of a dip here, but nothing too bad. Plus if they're going to replace the random encounters and add monsters roaming around the landscape then it's more than a fair trade-off.
It's a Steam-punk kind of American though ... which is sort of universal (in that in the future there will be no more countries ... and the whole of the earth will be like Texas).

I got that, but I still wonder if more casual fans caught a glimpse of it and immediately turned their nose at it without looking into it further. Ahhhh well, regardless it's a shame. Hate to see any decent game bomb that badly.
