I finished up Shadows of Mordor, a really solid game. It's probably in the 8.5 range, good not great.  It drags a little and a bit of variety would've been great, maybe more than one dwarf to meet and maybe some elves.  I didn't like how they shoehorned Gollum into the game.  Very forced. The Nemesis system is fantastic.  It really feels like a next gen mechanic.  More sandbox games need something like that.

I immediately started back with Alien Isolation after finishing SoM this afternoon.  I've said it before and I'll say it again, they nailed the atmosphere of the movie.  Great game.

Leo, I'm so glad I listened to you and didn't buy the last gen version of SoM.

I've gotten back into Bloodborne, beat the first two bosses. To me, this game is better than the Souls games. It just has better playability and a better design. The detail is insane.

Also got back into Skyrim. Would really like to just plow through the main story and beat it before Witcher 3....the amount of RPG's I need to play is just getting out of control. Gotta get this done this time.

Playing MK and Witcher 2

I've been playing MK8 200CC and some Captain Kinopio.

200CC is fast, but the course layout accommodates this well.  I haven't been braking all that much and I managed to come in first every cup I've played so far, even 3 staring some on my first run.

Captain Kinopio is ass.  I decided to give this one another go and to try and unlock all the bonus content.  But this game isn't intent on letting me play all it has to offer.  Mario games usually only require you to get 60% or so of the stars in order to see all the levels, but here you need every damned last diamond if you want to unlock it all.  Infuriating.  I think I'm going to consider this game beat as is and just move on.

I've watched parts of a few of them...didn't catch my interest. I don't see what the big deal is. And I don't know anyone who's really into them. Maybe its a teenage thing.

No teenage thing becomes the fourth biggest movie of all time. It's become a big action movie that everyone loves cause the characters. It's definetly attracts a younger crowd but it's something a lot of people like. Also walkers death helped make this movie so huge.
