I know some of you guys played Okami for Wii a while ago, so I have a question for you: were you able to get the dodge mechanic to work fine? Besides the epilogue being cut out from the original version, this move's difficulty of use in the Wii version is the biggest complaint I've been seeing. I'm not far enough into the Wii version to know about it, though. I'd just like to know if I should give the Wii version a chance (I do own it, after all) or immediately get some component cables for my PS2 so I can play the arguably better version (no, I don't have a PS3).

I never had any issues with the non-brush controls in the original. And as for the brush, I actually prefer an analog stick to the pointer. Having the epilogue and credits is also really nice. I'd rather play the PS2 version of Okami, and I wouldn't mind playing Snack Eater again, so I'm considering getting component cables so I can use my PS2 on my HDTV. However, Wiimotes are easier to come by these days (new, anyway), and I like future-proofing. Eh, meh.
