The repair rep asked me about repairing the system and that it would be $125. I declined saying for a few bucks more I could get the new system. To make a long story short she offered to waive a few things and eventually offered me the $45 price.
I didn't really push for it or haggle she was just quick to offer it. I suspect when she looked up my name in the system there's a great big gold star next to it for all the digital purchases Ive made so I may have gotten some preferential treatment. Or maybe Nintendo does that for everyone. Who knows.

Sucks we never got Goldeneye on 360.
I think part of the reason it was blocked was because of the remake that was coming out. I'm sure nobody wanted that to be overshadowed by the original. Also could have been Nintendo's way of getting revenge for Microsoft blocking the Halo port to DS.

All things considered it all worked out well, Eurocom Goldeneye was awesome and it got ported to 360 anyway.

Pixels looks ok, when was the last time sander made a good movie? I will still watch it as the premise is awesome. Plus it has dinklage! Paceman part at the end was funny.
I am currently attempting to make my own clay ocarina. I've had luck creating whistles, but I've had trouble with the holes. If this works, I'm certainly glazing it a navy blue.
