Leo, I was having a blast in the DK level just jumping from barrel to barrel. I couldn't even be bothered with fighting.
One day I'll have to recount the tales of my weekend. Philanthropy stuff aside, I got to eat the most AWESOME Sirloin Steak crepes of all time. Was treated to some Cask Beer, Bloody Mary's and Crafted Beers by a guy who could have been Rragnar's twin. I got to see Gone Girl in a private theater with an Ultra HD movie screen and reclining seats. Was given RIDICULOUS donuts from Nibble in Troy, NY... one of which had Maple and Bacon on it...
I worked --A LOT-- but was treated like a king...
I guess not playing Smash for a few days wasn't soooo bad after all...

I was cracking up during the Wii Fit Trainer match when it was just me as the trainer and I think it was Travo as Link. At one point I was running away from link, it looked like a woman running from an abusive husband, then Link grabbed me and pummeled her. Masogynistic game!!!!!

No I keep trying to beat him down. There's a few characters I can still hold my own with, and it's pretty competitive. But I fought with him about 6 times, and lost in a sudden death using Charmandar and ended up only winning the final match when I used Palutena.
So is this what Amiibo brings to SSMB? A higher difficulty setting for the characters you bought figurines of?

Mine too - level 50 pikachu. He is stronger than level 9 computers for sure.
You know what I would love to see? A sort of strategy mode where you use your Amibos to capture areas and pit them against each other. Maybe a board game style. Dunno. They would fight and defend based on their AI but could be moved and placed by the player. I know it's nothing Nintendo would ever do, but I wish they would get that creative.
