Anyway I had to have a massive diarhea in Yangshao southern China in one of those holes in the ground they call toilets. My first no 2 experience in one of these things.

What is this shit? I feel like Satan himself designed this thing. So I had never used one before, I pulled down my pants and crouched, then thought: if this is runny it's going to dribble all down my trousers. So I had to take off my trousers and hence shoes too. Then jacket so it didn't touch the floor. I was nekkid from the waist down and diarhea burst out like a grenade.

After carefully cleaning up I found getting up from crouched position hurt my legs, so how do elderly or disabled people shit on this thing? Also poor women have to crouch just to pee on this while we can wang off a piss one handed and standing.

Anyway after I had finished I realised that my socks were standing in a area covered in faecal and urine particles so were essentially radioactive.

These toilets are one step away from this.

Reminds me of Shanghai the view from the Bund to the Pudong. Very similar body of water separating land and the Chinese like to light up everything like Christmas.
