Anyhow, my belief is that big words are used by people who have little to say. Instead of making sense they just seek to stupify and confound their adversaries with an onslaught of big, but ultimately hollow, terms and jargon. As was also briefly discussed in the podcast, if I'm not mistaken .
So for example, you could have said peasants, instead of reverting to proletariats, despite not being wholely identic in their meaning.
You are mistaken: the discussion was in regards to how language (specifically: mixing colloquial language with jargon) affects the aesthetics of games writing on a fundamental level; generally resulting in uneven, awkward prose regardless of the average author's ability. The peasant, proletariat example is entirely unrelated given that neither word are jargon (in the context of your example). Moreover, it is idiotic and lazy to substitute a correct word for a similar but incorrect word simply to avoid accusations of pretension. It also creates more lazy idiots.

Cool, congrats on your purchase. Since you already have the XB1 getting a WU makes more sense thatn the duplicative PS4.
its actually a bit better than its contemporaries, particularly Shadows of Mystara (remember its a two game collection). The games have branching paths, hidden rooms, selectable secondary weapons, abilities, and spells and a good sized roster to choose from.
How do the continues work? It's an arcade port? So can you just click a button to add more coins?

Picked up the Deluxe Super Mario 3D World bundle. Hyrule Warriors was the tipping point for me, well that and folders.

Congrats on the console man. I like it a lot, IMO its a huge improvement over the Wii in every way and when you have stuff to play on it its really awesome. It just sucks that its so unpopular and there's just not much being made for it, though that won't effect you right away. Although, you plow through games at an alarming rate so I'm sure it won't take you long to finish the library.

Well the transfer is complete. I moved all my data from Wii to Wii U. Time to retire the Wii to the closet and clear up a ... wee .... bit of space.
So I now can get some of my Wii VC games on Wii U for $1.50. What exactly is the difference and is it worth it? Also I had 400 points transfered as well but is there no way to convert them to my current Nintendo "wallet" which uses real currency?
Those cute little Pikmin sure worked hard during the transfer.

The main difference is that you have save states, Miiverse (which is really useful) HD video output and you can play offscreen on the Wii U pad.
On the following I may be mistaken on this as I haven't tried it, but I think you can activate Wii mode to output on the Upad screen and use a wii remote/classic controller to play all your Wii VC games offscreen anyway. So you might not want to bother upgrading.

No it's not like Wii save states where it saves when you hit home and then deletes. It's more like a PC emulator save state. So for instance you can die multiple times and just load up the last save state to get through hard parts on old school games.
Storage space is 23 out of 30 gb I think. Fine for eshop indie games but if try and download a full retail game, one or two games will eat up your whole drive.

I beat three more levels of Sonic Generations today. Such a good game. But I just read a faq and think I am on the road to a dead end.
I only have 4 more levels to go, boss battles included.
Time to break out Fable 3 and overlap the two games.
