Videogamer Super Smash Bros. 3DS Review
9/10 - Packing a substantial amount of content and the same fantastic gameplay as its home console siblings, it gives the forthcoming Wii U version an awful lot to live up to.videogamer.com impressions gamingeek
Shadow of Mordor (9.3) AMAZING! Review
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor stands out from other open-world action games by putting a great new layer on top of the trail that Batman blazed. ign.com impressions phantom_leo
Bayonetta deserves to be there over others on that list.
How so? A top 10 games of a generation should be games that really perfected a genre or started a whole new trend or just really shook things up. I don't see how Bayonetta or SSF did that. Great games, but so are 500 other games that released since 2005.
True it needs ME2, Skyrim, and Uncharted 2. Oh and MGS4 of course.
I wouldn't pick ME2 or Skyrim over their predecessors just because, while they may be as good or better, they didn't start anything or pioneer anything. They just followed groundwork already laid. Same reason I'm glad they picked Call of Duty 4 over the 6 sequels.

So did Super Mario Galaxy. And Dork Souls. And GTA V!

Yeah they should have chosen Demon's Souls. Galaxy is fine...what other game perfected that style? And GTA....I may not even put a GTA on the list...Red Dead did it better.
SSF4 totally belongs on the list. SF4 brought back a genre that had been dead for a decade and Super polished it up, brought in a bigger roster and is one of the best 2D fighters ever made. That the community is still very active 5 years later speaks to that.
Pretty solid list of games there. The only one I don't agree with is Little Big Planet. I'd take that and The Last of Us off since I didn't play it and put Gears of War and Mass Effect on instead.
I can't believe Carnage tried to argue that LBP has great controls. I just remember Robio and I failing miserably to play it together. I agree Minecraft should replace it on that list.

Oh fuck the tournament. HAHAHHHAAHAHA. I just remember that after we played a few rounds together I messaged you "can we please quit playing?"

It was the best action game of the generation, so there is that. But yes I would put others but Bayonetta is deserving if someone wants to add it in.
They were bad ideas, though. Think of what makes a platformer, like SMG, good: Tight controls and superb level design. LBP has neither.
You have bad controls!
It is one of the greatest experiences of last gen, completely unique and a showcase for what console online gaming can do and can be. LBP is easily one of the best games of last gen and it is up top on my list and other smart people lists.

I abhor that Little Big Planet is sitting there, tainting everything around it with its inanity.

I really don't like LBP, but I can appreciate it being listed as it WAS a game that shook things up a bit with some different ideas.
Agreed.

And LBP should have been bumped for Minecraft.

Well I can't argue with that. Even if I could, I still wouldn't because I'm fuckin' lazy.

Borderlands 2 is $5 on the PSN sale.... that is fucking insane. And tempting.
Shitty list. The games I have played, don't inspire confidence in the quality of the rest of the selection.
