Playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Most overlooked game ever. If you wanted a new Burnout, this was your game, too bad Criterion broke up after it.
Saw a Wii U for the first time this weekend.
- Smaller than I thought.
- Cheaper looking than I thought.
Was enticed by the agressive XB1 sale down here. $600 bucks plus 4 premium games (Forza, Titanfall, Watchdogs and something else). Would have done it, but except for Titanfall the other 3 were download. And given I get 15 GB a month, No deal.
I haven't noticed this in game yet, but why does it seem like in every gif, every motorcycle is doing a wheelie? I thought we established we couldn't do 'em?
Well, just got back from Barcelona and picked up my copy of MK8. If any of you like the feeling of a green shell hitting you in the face as you see my kart growing ever smaller ahead of you, be sure to add me to your WiiU friends list. Can't remember exactly how it's done, but I'm pretty sure I'm registered as SupremeAC there too.
Also, could the Wii U GC controller adapter point towards Nintendo releasing GCN games on virtual console?
According to a wiki that I read, you do wheelies when you speed boost via mushroom.
I don't understand why they have NOTHING on there from any console with 3D graphics. Ridiculous.
In that gif above, Luigi did a boost at the very start of the race (you can see the flame at the back of his kart and his starting line). Apply the gas immediately after the second light comes on to do that. Any later and the boost isn't as good, and I don't think you'll do a wheelie.
It's because the WiiU is underpowered, duh!
