I started playing Diablo 3. There has been a fuckton of patches and fixes since I last played it, a few months ago, and now there was a huge pre-reaper of Souls (upcoming expansion) that changed even more stuff. My previous character was a lv 20 Demon Huntress that I abandoned midway through Act II. I just wasn't feeling it or whatever. Now I started a new playthrough with a Monk, in the hardest available difficulty setting (Expert, the others will unlock when I beat the game I think) and I'm having tons of fun. Mobs overwhelm you and force you to be careful, elites pack a wallop and higher level foes can fuck your shit up if you are not attentive. I've had the need to change my active abilities depending on the kind of stuff I'm facing and the loot is much better now, so far I've gotten two Legendaries and have surpassed Lv 20 even before finishing the first act.
Good stuff.
Gamefly games show up today. Three day turn-around. That's pretty damned good in my book. If they can keep that up I might just stick with them for more than a month this go around. In the meantime I'll be checking out Last of Us Shortly (depending on whether or not there's a ridiculously sized patch for it or not).
Sega is doing something right!!! We're getting this in 3-D!!!!
Now if only they'd give us a new HD version.
Oh and BTW, is Super Metroid actually good? I tried playing it again last night, and despite my efforts I just could not get into it. Do you have to really far into it before it's interesting?

Yeah. I figured it was a piece of shit that people rave about because it was fun at the time. Glad I asked.
I beat it almost every other year, its timeless. but if you dont like metroidvania games then I guess it would be a no. I dont know about the really far into thing, its pretty amazing from start to finish.
To be fair I've just never really liked Metroid that much. I beat the first two, but that was more from an era of "well I ain't shit else to play and a friend let me borrow them so why not?" Don't even get me started on the Prime games.
Tomorrow night I start Panzer Dragoon Saga...the first game I will play start to finish on my Sega Saturn. Can't fucking wait!!

One of the few games I imported when I was younger. Bought this for the Mega Drive, played it, loved it! So psyched it's being remade, but it was totally unexpected!

National health plan in Australia is doing me fine.
