So Rayman Legends is kinda awesome, really polished, beautiful to look at in 1080p and it's not just for show. The levels are varied and really well design. It comes off as a game made by people still in love with platform games and not just trying to evoke retro nostalgia. The music is epic too.
The only thing I can see spoiling the party is that the levels are all fairly short, thankfully they have thrown in Rayman Origins levels too.
How does TVii work? Do you need a cable subscription that you need to log in to?
I believe you either let it search your cable system or you just tell it which provider you have.
Well, that's easy enough.
Bah, I hate case sensitivity. Thanks though. Odd that the html didn't make a fuss over it when it was still running locally.
I don't think TVii is available here in Belgium. Pffff, we never get any of that stuff. No sky, no netflix, ... Stupid country with it's gated media.
Real game:
FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EPIC OPENING FOR NFL!!!!!!
And game is delayed 15 minutes due to lightning...
The rayman worldwide rankings for Wii U show about 38k have the game. Lets say 10k have not played it online (that is very generous) Rayman Wii U has only sold 48k worldwide...
They delayed a football game because of some measly lightning? Are they going to stop playing when it rains too, like some wimpy sports do?
And about 25k downloaded it illegally.
How did Origins sell on the Wii compared to the other platforms I wonder (wondering what Rayman loyalty is like on Nintendo platforms (non-rabbids).
I think Rayman Legends is too expensive for most people right now. It'll sell better when it drops in price. They really should have charged $40 USD instead of $60. $60 is insane for any 2D platformer that isn't a Super Mario game.
EDIT: It's $40 on Steam, but $60 on PSN. Seriously, WTF?
Loving Rayman so far but I find it way too easy. I really miss the time trials for all the levels. There is a beauty to the way Origins levels are designed where they are all designed for speed running as well as exploration. This game is not like that, many levels slow you down a lot and have more situations where running is a bad thing. Now that adds variety but I kind of miss the speed running aspect.
Also its a shame that so far the dojo is the only new level to the challenges, I thought they would add a bunch of new ones to the full game.
I love the game, just airing out some of the stuff I thought would be different.
So it'll still be a very good challenge for the rest of us mere mortals lacking Vader-mode.
Yeah I agree.
GG: Those Origin levels aren't part of the main campaign right? What the hell.
Vader: Does that mean there aren't challenges anymore? They were by far the best part of Origins.
Raven: It's $35 on Steam for me. Have Australians somehow got it for cheaper?!
Seems so. I just checked, and it's still $40 on Steam for me.
Origin levels are in a seperate section but they still count toward the overall count of getting 100% in the game.
What challenges are you talking about? Speed challenges? There are no more speed challenges in the game, not even the origin levels.
. Ubisoft FTW! (still going to wait until it's $5.)
Yeah, the speed challenges. That really sucks. What about the medals? (Gold for getting all lums etc.)
