Jesus H Christ...I started playing Crysis 3 yesterday because of GG....maxed this shit out completely at 60 fps on my PC....and fuckin' a this game is beautiful. I'm talking Nicole Graves vagina beautiful. And it seems better than Crysis 2 already.
Based on a recomendation from Aspro a few months back I picked up "The Guide to Classic Graphic Adventures." I knew it would a fairly complete book, but dear lord this thing is huge. It's almost 800 pages long! This is the kind of book that parents would use to beat their children 40 years ago if they Yellow Pages wasn't around. Very enjoyable nostalgic reading though. Nice reminders of games I used to be obsessed with.
On that note, why the hell haven't we gotten a Grim Fandango remake yet? Tell Tale can fuck off with the Walking Dead games (I don't give a shit if they're good), Grim Fandango is what they should be focusing on.

I seem to be caught in the middle. Cant play new games cause its not powerful enough, can't play most older games because there is no windows 8 support.
I think I wil pick this one up, unless Crysis 2 somehow gets worse from here. Really solid shooter.
Supreme, i hear the Surface Pro comes with full windows and has an i5 intel CPU but only 5 hours battery life. Also full windows 8 doesn't come with MS Office, only the RT ones I hear. There is this Samsung Ativ Pro model which is pretty good much more powerful than mine but about twice the price. The HP Envy X2 is slightly better than mine but £250 more for very litte extra. Lenovo do some good ideapads and laptops. I guess if you dont mind a laptop form you should look for a windows 8 touch screen laptop which gives you a much better spec for the price. Asus Vivobook does an i3 and i5 and even an i7 model now. Lenovo do a few.
If you just want a tablet I guess apple is still the best for the price but I wanted USB ports and HDD expansion optiones as well as some backwards compat.
Most of these touch screen laptops dont have optical drives anymore so they are super slim. Dell XPS is very good but expensive, Sony do some good touchscreen Vaios now.

So I've been updating this thing for 5 and a half hours now, not only 65 windows updates but manurfacturer firmware updates too. And I haven't even gotten to installing internet security and stuff.
