Just wear a baseball cap, then maybe no-one will notice. Works for Spielburg.
Been there, done that.
I kind of like this box art. I'm liking the look of this new Killzone too....I need to pick up the trilogy pack to brush up.
Looks like the software situation on U is getting better, Pikmin 3 is out in 2 days. Then Splinter Cell and Wonderful 101 is out less than 4 weeks later - about a week later Rayman comes out, 4 weeks on The Wind Waker HD is out along with Wii Party U and for the rest of October you have:
I can't wait to get Pikmin 3. I would be very surprised if this isn't my favorite Wii U game yet because I loved the 1st two games.
Hopefully the Wii U software keeps flowing through the holidays and beyond, and doesn't just grind to a halt after the holiday season. Sales are going to be very important this year.
Pantera vocalist Phil Anselmo is back with his 1st solo album with his band The Illegals....song is Bedridden. Reminds me of old Pantera!

Ubisoft said they will analyse holiday sales to see if its worth future support. Warner Bros seem to be the only guys announcing new titles as a matter of course. From what we saw with U from launch to now it seems everyone aims for end of year holiday release for the most part then drought time till the following autumn when a new deluge begins. Other platforms have far more support though so this wont be the case for them, from GDC data, about 30% dev support compared to 15% for Nintendo devices. The rest are doing PC or mobile games.
2014 is:
What you see at the moment is the 3DS solely turning around sales and opinion based on the quality of Nintendo titles. You could have a similar turnaround on U once there are enough great titles. It'll be a long slog to reach what Iwata called "critical mass" he's aiming for i.e a group of games that make a compelling enough argument to own the system. If Nintendo keep releasing Pikmin 3 quality U games which are reviewed as "delightful, wonderful, generous, brilliant, sumptuous, intelligent, witty, charming, funny, and utterly captivating" then the writers and commentators on gaming media sites will warm up to them and the machine itself and the image and general internet opinion will change. You've seen it this year with 3DS having best ever Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Luigis' Mansion, you are having Animal Crossing editorials written left and right and the game has infected twitter.
We had these yesterday:
Gamesindustry: Nintendo's Handheld Revival
http://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2013-07-23-roundtable-nintendos-handheld-revival?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=european-daily
With the 3DS as the hottest thing in gaming hardware, were declarations of the dedicated gaming portable's demise premature?
Polygon Opinion: Animal Crossing tells the beautiful story of our mundane lives
It seems Nintendo has to prove themselves each time, other platforms just get the automatic assumption they'll be great till they prove otherwise.
