This is real now, the Wii U can be the next Dreamcast. This not something you simply fix. Next month WILL sell less due to it being 4 weeks. No games are coming out. THIS IS THE BIGGEST CONSOLE DISASTER WE HAVE SEEN SINCE DC.
The PROBLEM IS ::::::::: ARE YOU READY? IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY GAMES !!!! HELLO NINTENDO ????? ANYONE HOME? They talked about holding back games??? Are they as fucking stupid as they seem?
You know I'm surprised this strategy never bit Nintendo harder in the ass before. Anyone remember the N64 launch? 2 games. And in the next 2 months only 1 more came out. I guess that works better when going up again new consoles, but not so well against entirely established ones.
If anything good comes from this maybe Reggie will be fired. I have to admit after all these years, his hair and teeth are starting to bother me.
Reggie needs to be fired. It will happen, no way this goes with no reprecusions.
I miss the Reggie that was all about kicking ass and taking names.
*sigh* I'm not really surprised. Nothing about the Wii U is appealing. Nintendo should just focus exclusively on handhelds.
Lets vow to never use that Neverending Story gif again.![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
I always thought that the perfect Nintendo console would be one that worked as both a handheld and a portable. Something that would sit on a charging cradle that could be hooked up to the TV, and then taken on the go whenever needed. Almost what the Wii U was.... but not quite.
That would indeed be a perfect Nintendo console.

A Nintendo console has NEVER had numbers in January so low since Iwata has become president. The 45-59K figure is unprecedented. UNPRECEDENTED
Wow! Mario & Luigi and Mario Golf jump right to the front of my most anticipated 3DS games list!
Incredible gif.
I had heard that 55K number earlier this week on a podcast, I thought that was already known.
I don't think Nintendo is to blame, they have made a solid, innovative console with a very good variety of games available thus far (compared to historic patterns). The third-parties are scared shitless about bringing games to their platform, and they have every reason to be.
I think gaming for non-gamers is dying, which means the pie is just smaller.
That tweet about Virtual Boy is a complete lie, VB sold way less.
That's the second Kevin Dent set of tweets that I've seen this week. Christ this guy is full of shit and a egotistical wanker to boot.
Nintendo really needs a few major exclusives to launch before summer. I don't think ANY new system priced at $300 or higher can go without that anymore, especially with older consoles STILL not dying out.
What baffles me is just how the fuck they have not released Pikmin 3 yet. How long does it take to develop a real time strategy game? Pikmin 2 was a LONG ass time ago.
I'm looking at IGN's write-up regarding the PS4 prototype controller. Dual analog, speaker, move sensor, and touch pad.... how expensive do you think think thing will be? Can they do that for under $100?
