That's the controller I was complaining about in my topic. The Pad is the Tablet, the Controller is the Pro Controller.
I got it PRIMARLY for New Super Mario, and thought I would at least TRY Darksiders with it.
It doesn't WORK with Mario and I didn't like it for D2.
I would advise keeping it, as it's a lot less cumbersome for the average game than the Pad, but, I'll warn you now, it'll take --A LOT-- of getting used to!

I do have Assassins Creed coming and I hear it works with that so I think I will keep it, with the low battery life with the big pad.

I will say I do not like the Wii U's ambiant background music. This shit is awful.
Worse than the Wii? That drove me nuts.
Wait 'til you get to the Main Dashboard and have a thousand Mii's buzzing at you! The Download Music is symphonic in comparison!
I can see how some would think the Wii's music was worse, but it never bothered me that much. I never had an issue filtering that out.

That's probably the main thing Idon't like about the U, and its also the main thing I disliked about the Wii: The reliance on and forcing of the whole Mii thing...its fucking annoying. Then MS started the whole avatar thing, but at least those are still kinda hidden. Its useless, annoying crap. Covering my whole Wii U dashboard in fucking Mii's is totally unwanted. I would rather have something plain like the Gamecube dashboard.
Just played 5 matches of Black Ops 2 online...and I'm happy to report its just like playing COD on the Xbox. You quickly get into matches and its all nice and easy. I'm getting more used to the controls now as this is a really good game to learn them on. And I'm starting to pull off some nice headshots.The Gamepad screen is simply used as a map, so the Pro controller is probably a better option for online. I'll try that out next. Seems like a ton of people bought Blops 2 for the U today.
Graphically, this game is definitely a step up. Not sure if it looks better than the other versions, but as GG said last week it is very vibrant and colorful compared to past games. But in a good way..the colors really make the guns and things in the background stick out. Very happy with it. Now, on to Zombi U.
This is why I love the PS3 dashboard. It's simple to use. No annoying background music. No annoying cartoon characters waving at me. No annoying ads cluttering every square inch of the screen. I hope Sony keeps with this style next gen.
My girlfriend wanted to get two Wii U's for her nephew and daughter's boyfriend, both of whom didn't pre-order. She came with me to Gamestop this mornig and managed to get two spare black Wii U's that they had as non-preorders. How fucking lucky did she get? Or maybe its not luck...just that she's blonde with sinkstopper nipples?
I was going to say...this is the one major victory of Sony this generation.

It's like I figured too, most of the games don't even support 6 channel PCM it's all Dolby Pro Logic II Nintendo cheaped out . I'm not happy about it either but I knew. I guess if the games are brilliant I can live with it, but it still sucks. Everything Nintendo does is backasswards.
