Yeah the demo came out July 3, it's releasing October 2. That's not a lot of time.  Plus they moved the release date up a month from the original (giving them even less time).  So.... fingers crossed, wait for reviews.

Here's a random thing I just thought of. I've never really seen anyone complain much about escorting Yorda around in Ico. Does the simple fact that it didn't enrage everyone not mean that it is the greatest escort quest in gaming?

I think its cuz you're well aware that you have a vunerable character that you need to protect, that makes it ok. Same thing with Ashley in RE4. Its when somebody is supposed to be there holding their own, like the bitch in RE5...and they just get in the way, THAT'S when it gets annoying.

Or when they're simply completely retarded, as they tend to be in GTA/RPG side quests.

I played all of it..even though I had grown bored & disappointed by the 3rd act.

You can choose between 6 characters...Leon, Chris, Jake and the tag along characters they all have. I played as Leon, Chris, and Cherry. The different sections focus on different aspects of the game, though I am sure the final complete game will have a mix of it all for each campaign..I doubt the gameplay will be that diverse between them in the end.

But whether its action to the wall or exploration..the game just does not feel good. At most this game feels like it will be an 8/10....which is good for some games but this is Resident fucking Evil. We'll see.

Was Vita's Gamescom dream shortlived? Lifetime sales numbers revealed

It was the week that Vita seemed to live again. But all too quickly Sony’s ambitious handheld has been brought down to earth.


Sony has traditionally been coy about revealing Vita’s sales numbers, but be it deliberately or not the numbers were finally revealed at Gamescom last week, with PlayStation Germany boss Uwe Bassendowski revealing to Playfront that the machine has sold 2.2m units since its launch in Japan in December and in Europe/America in February.


And as compiled by a Neogaf user, this does not compare favourably to other formats.

At the same stage in its lifecycle, PSP had sold 5.05m units and the 3DS 6.68m. DS had shifted 6.65m units and the Game Boy Advance 9.58m.

Fuck Rockstar, releasing three screen shots as if that makes the complete silence on the game ok. Where the hell is GTAV!!!!
