Remember when Xbox 360 1st came out, and people were complaining that it wasn't enough of a leap over Xbox 1?
I remember Iwata even using that as "proof" that the Wii being underpowered wasn't a big deal.
I finished Order Up last night (officially completed the game on two separate system... I'm now that guy). Now I am getting into Rainbow Moon, and am enjoying it quite a bit.
Besides trying out Alan Wake to see if it could run on my logic-defying system (it did), all I've played these past couple days is Dota 2.
Funny, I'm in the middle of the Summer Sale, have bought and been gifted to a good number of games, and the only one that kept my attention is the free one.

Nope.... not even close.
I'll give it another try this morning then I think I'll rest the game for a few days and beat Bioshock.
This is the battle where you are by yourself and he starts flying around.
Well "not even close" isn't really fair. It's been many years since I've played it, but if memory serves correct the end of the game is actually a lot of boss fights without much downtime in between them. It flows pretty well and works a lot better than a lot of games that try to do that.
Unless they serve human flesh, what's the point?

Diablo 3 and Ghost Recon...Ghost Recon is almost done, great game.
The point is that there is a back and forth, I guess if you don't read GAF or a few news stories in more detail you won't be that aware of it. There is this back and forth as to whether the system is more powerful than 360/PS3 with a few anonymous devs saying one thing, some other devs saying the opposite. Then E3 comes along and most of the games look decent, but do not demonstrate any extra power the system may have or not.
Some devs are porting games and so are having different issues from those making ground up games. Some of the anonymous quotes even contradict themselves, one saying the GPU is bad, CPU is good then next saying the CPU is bad, GPU is great.
Just last week Harada of Tekken fame was saying the clock speed of the CPU was a little low, maybe a little lower than 360/PS3s. Gearbox said the CPU was great as it was more modern and future looking etc.
5th Cell are clearing it up right now and saying that it's clearly more powerful and anyone who says otherwise is either lying or grossly misinformed.

I looked at the MGR pics, I don't get people anymore. Oh no clipping?! Cause that doesn't happen in almost every game, who cares. The game looks incredible in motion I won't be able to pay attention to the background, it looks fine anyway. I cant stand how overreactive gamers are to everything. Between this and the RE6 demo I feel sorry for the devs that have to put up with this negativity crap on tech issues on games that are clearly not finished.
They should open one up in Miami. Our human flesh eating population would love it.
