I told you guys this game was destined for greatness.
And yet...I still haven't played more than the demo...
Eurogamer reviewer...
"As it stands, it's an interesting experiment which - somewhat ironically - fails to justify the cost of an expensive peripheral. But if you already own a Kinect and fancy something more substantial, then Heavy Armor is worth a look because, at least, it dared to try."
How'd you like that construction zone level near the end? Ugh. Other than that level I really enjoyed the game (up until that server level where they force you to use guns for the first time (up until then you can get away with not using them). Important for introducing the slide mechanic -- unless someone can come up with an earlier example...
An important addition to the story, thank you.
Today in boxshot:
Joystiq: ($30) "The collection comprises all three thatgamecompany PSN games - Flow, Flower, and Journey - and also includes a one-month PS Plus membership, "exclusive mini games," creator commentary audio tracks, soundtracks for all three games, and a variety of other bonuses."
Vanquish went from tough but fair to just plain cheap last night. We'll see if I can beat this boss this morning with a fresh perspective.
For those of you who have played, this is the boss that is called "Unknown".
Hmm. From what I recall I found Unknown to be somewhat of an easy boss myself.
Watching the Gamespot review of Heavy Armour it seemed to me that the biggest problem is that this version of Kinect just isn't up to the task of being able to properly play this kind of game and that a more powerful version ie. Kinect 2.0 would be able to do a much better job. Of course the wildly varying difficulty is something that shouldn't be currently present in the game.
Sounds like it might be my weapons loadout is the problem.
I pity the fool who buys this.
^ agreed. $10 at most for all three.
WTF Bioware, I dont think I have a save from that point. Just let me see the damn new ending. Oh wait NOW my choices change the ending, when I dont want to play through the whole thing. FU.
2 Fucking gigs?!?!
Coming this week for 360. Anyone excited?
So after gamer insider Best Buy coupons Soul Calibur V is $10, so I will get that. SSX is $10 too, not sure i will get it as the demo did nothing for me.
Is it strange that I am more angry now at the ME3 ending thing now that Bioware is releasing this new ending that does fit into your choices. I guess before it was just how it was, well now I wonder why the hell didnt I get this when I played it the first time. I dont care about the ending as much anymore.
The ending was far from the ungodly disaster everyone said it was, I've seen much worse endings get a pass (I'm looking at you F.E.A.R. 2, Limbo, Homefront, Half Life 2 and F.Three.A.R).
Really though, I can't see how feeding the trolls (as IGN put it) will turn out any better for them. I am guessing that same group will be just as angry about the nrw endings.
