HOLY SHIT the 3DS now has the ability to patch games, yes Nintendo games are going to be patched. Mario Kart 7 is fixing that map glitch exploit.
KID ICARUS IS GETTING A CONTROL PATCH SO THAT IT DOESNT SUCK ASS!!!!
Final Fantasy rhythm game?!
Man, Iwata looks like shit. Times are rough.
WHAT THE FUCK>?!?!??!?!??!
NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. 2 JUST ANNOUNCED!!!!!
It is apparently prety good. On it's second pressing in Japan.
NSMB2 in August, Iwata dropped the bomb while no one was looking.
Wii game like Mario Collection
3DS folder update comes on tuesday
Folders!!!
Poor Vita.... no chance against Mario and folders.
NSMB 2? Is Nintendo completely out of new ideas? WTF?
You will enjoy it, along with SMB4 and Super Mario Galaxy U
I'm not going to be playing it. I'm done. I'm completely burnt out on Nintendo. Meh.
You are crazy Mario Land 1 does not even deserve to lick the boots of Mario Land 2, 3 and Wario 1 and 2.
It should be taken out back and shot.
Wario Land 1 = (should be triple equals but don't know where to find that symbol) Mario Land 3. It was their way of introducing Wario I think. It's not a Mario game. It's a great game, so are Wario Land 2, 3 and 4. I don't consider them Mario games though. I don't even consider them platformers strictly speaking as they are very puzzle focussed.
Mario Land 1 and 2 are both great. ML1 is a bit of a dark horse, the jumping and running mechanics are a bit off (think because it was very early days for the gameboy). Feels very odd, but I love it somehow. ML2 is more typical Mario 2D platform controls, wonderful game. Bit too short. Would be hard pressed to choose between the two, so I can't settle this one. I don't think they're comparable

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I probably will buy those games, and I probably will enjoy them to some extend. After my disappointment with 3D Land though I somehow don't expect perfection from them like I might have been inclined to beforehand. I expect a handful of decent platformers ... and since I'm otherwise parched (on what is one of my favourite genres still), I will welcome them
Though I am craving more Donkey Kong Land Returns and more Rayman Origins (though I've yet to play the original but I know it will be great)

Why is there always some charlatan on ebay that wants to rip you off?
You always get some punk that causes you hassle.
The quote about the 'fiercely territorial R&D guys' who want to have high cost products is telling, this is what happened with Kuteragi and PS3 right?
I have played a couple of the warioland games. I own the gba one currently. Nowhere near as good as Mario 3DLand.
Mario 3DLand has home conosle rivalling graphics, music, production values, controls. The design is top notch too, but the levels are just too small and there is some repetition.
So does anyone know if Fire Emblem SS characters can evolve naturally without a special item?
I seem to remember in the GC games you could get to level 20 and they would evolve without needing a special crest or item. So in Sacred Stones I pushed Elrika to level 20 thinking she would evolve.
Instead she maxed out in speed and luck and does not even receive experience points anymore. I have a master seal but it does not work on Lords or Princes. So I have a few characters about level 10-16 and I'm wondering if its worth pushing them to 20 to see if they evolve? Maybe it's just Lords that don't auto-evolve at 20? Or would I just be wasting my time? Anyone remember?

Shane Satterfield: Wii U Launch Line-Up is looking "pretty damn good".
In today's episode of Invisible Walls on Gametrailers, the conversation turned to the third-party support for the upcoming Nintendo Wii U.
Shane Shatterfield, Editor in Chief of Gametrailers.com, had this to say (around the 12:00 minute mark):
Quote: One thing that I can say without getting in any trouble is that the launch line-up for the Wii U is going to surprise people. It's going to be pretty damn good.
What's interesting is that Shane comments that there doesn't seem to be much Japanese support, but a lot of western support. This is because a Namco exec he spoke to at their recent Vegas show wasn't talking (and I'm guessing he also took note of Kojima's Project Ogre comments), but Daniel Bloodworth brought some common sense by pointing out that Japanese developers are probably following Nintendo's lead and keeping their mouths shut until E3.
So, whatever launch games he's referring to are western.
