I tried the PS3 version of ME3 and did a direct comparison with the 360 version, oh wow, the 360 version beats it pretty badly. Is this how it has been all gen, I just got a 360, ignorance was bliss back then but now that I can directly compare the two woah. The PS3 version moves no where near as smooth. Everything is brighter but doesnt have the color nuance the 360 has. AA seems worse especially when moving the camera around quickly. 360 is silky smooth, PS3 seems rough in comparison.  That said the PS3 version still plays just fine so it is not a bad version by any means.
Now I am thinking twice of getting the PS3 version cause I have ME2 on PS3. What is more important to me, to continue the story or have it be beautiful. Also I like the controls on the PS3 better. My 360 sticks seem to not center correctly which cause it to get stuck moving slowly in a certain direction. Plus many weapons are not automatic forcing you to quickly shoot and the 360 triggers cannot be pressed as fast as the R1 button. I feel better using the DS3.  I will see how multiplayer is handled and check reviews before making a decision.

Now take everything you just said about the 360 version being a step up, and imagine the PC version doing the same thing to the 360 version. I was pretty surprised when I did the side by side, just how different they were...especially the clarity, effects, and character model detail. That's why I'm leaning towards PC even though I played the 1st two on Xbox.

And yeah, it has pretty much been that way all gen for the PS3....you never notice until you finally have them in direct competition, but 99% of the time the 360 versions of games were always better. I guess that's what happens when you have one machine designed around PC and another designed around Sony's bizarre "lets do it the hard way" philosophy.

Man the new SSX is coming out in a little over a week! I forgot all about it....those games were so much fun back in the day, I really hope this new one nails that fun factor. Some of the funnest racing games (basically what they are) I have ever played.

Started playing M&B Warband again after having a savefile corrupted and uninstalling the game a few months ago. It's fun, even unmodded. In a couple days I have managed to help a village by giving them cattle (that I stole from the neighboring village), got into a fight with a Count because I insulted him inside his own castle, ( I won the duel), tried to release a prisoner the hard way, only to have my ass kicked by several guards and being unceremoniously dumped into the same dungeon I was just about to valiantly break into, won a jousting tournament, met a king and told him to fuck himself when he wanted me to run errands for him (delivering letters, really?), raided two caravans (one of them had a fucking LOT of mercs guarding it so I had to flee when I realized I was biting more than I could chew), and collected taxes for the king (kept the gold for me, fuck that king, he should have known better than to trust me).

I think that's what GG said...that they were making it for both systems like Twilight Princess.

There is but the Wii version will require some kind of USB add on or at least thats what they speculate. Additionally I'm not 100% sure they'll bring the Wii version to North America. DQX isn't going to make it out of Japan until 2013. I wouldnt blame them for makihg it Wii U exclusive.

I wonder if the Wii version needs a USB add-on for dlc. Either way I'll go for the Wii U version.

SE said that it would have better graphics too, so its not just the same game in HD I'm guessing.
