Well I won't be getting Go Vacation today but I will be getting Forza 4. Grinning Ace Combat and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record are also out today. Wish I could grab both of those as well but I'll have to get them a bit later. Sad

Why buy a racing or flying game when you can get Go Vacation where you  can race and fly and kill Zombies?

Because the Forza 4 and Ace Combat look and play a thousand times better then any racing or flying I could do in Go Vacation. Nyaa

I'd get it, but I'm a weee bit broke after my weekend so I won't be buying anything for a while. I've been in a big gaming funk for a while though so frankly I don't really care. On the other hand I do have something cool to look forward to in another month. The Southern Pinball Festival - a weekend long event with dozens and dozens of pinball machines set to free play. God it'll be beautiful.

Hmmm....that Gamespot review of Ace Combat gives me the impression that it may be a case of the game just not being what its reviewer; in this case Kevin Vanord, wants...and not necessarily a reflection of everyone else, as most others seem to like it quite a bit so far.

Hmm. Yeah that's a pretty harsh review for Ace Combat there still I enjoyed the demo for it and would still like to get it. There's still a good number of games I'll be catching up on so by time I get around to it there may have been a price drop or two.
