This may be old news, but I just stumbled on it today. Apparently Warren Spector will be writing a few issues of Kaboom Studio's (Disney's comic studio) Duck Tales and the first issue came out yesterday. If this is well reviewed, I think it's safe to say that Spector will get his wish and will get to do a Duck Tales video game. God that's going to be cool. I gave up DLing games when I lost over 10 XBLA games when my first XB died (this was before they had the ability to transfer them).

Yeah I  posted that when it came up a couple months ago, but it's still interesting.  I listened to an interview with him with Leo LaPorte, he's a Disney NUT.  I'm glad he's living his dream (which is what it would be for him to write a Disney comic book).  I would not reccomend the interview in general as Leo's ignorance of gaming comes through pretty annoyingly.  Spector came off as a completely normal, nice person. No ego at all.

Half-Minute Hero Clocking in to XBLA

For anyone who has a 360 and didn't play the PSP version, GET IT!!! The game was brilliant. It was original and a humorously self aware twist on the traditional JRPG that we've seen for the last 25 years. I'm still very disappointed it's not coming out on PSN (then again these days, what is?).

I liked it. It was a bit high-concept for me. I'll get back to it some day.

EDIT: It is kind of like a JRPG version of Pac-Man CE DX or Space Invaders Extreme.

I listened to that Giant Bomb Pachter interview. He says some crazy shit but, (and I don't knwo how he does it), when he says what he says, it sounds entirely reasonable somehow.
