Godamn I want Endless Ocean 3 on Project Cafe
So there is some new tech for smoothing out old pixels to make better sprites.
These researchers want yo use it in real time with emulators. Think about this, it could mean virtual console versions of your old game looking super smooth and great looking.
The team behind the paper has said that it hopes the algorithm will be usable in real-time emulators and as a basis for a process that generates additional frames to stop jumping in upscaled sprites in the future.
Modern Warfare 3 LOOKS good, but the gameplay will be the same 5 hour long shooting gallery it always is.
At least it's not made by Treyarch.
Hmmm as much as I love Assassin's Creed, I get the feeling this next game will be the one that burns me out & makes me not want to play a new one for a long time. I used to be a huge Ratchet & Clank fan, but after sequel after sequel I just lost interest. Its good to have some downtime in between games.
We're only like a week & a half away from seeing what Nintendo games look like on a modern system! YES!!!! I've waited long for this day!

So Sony say they're all done spending the insane amount of money they did on PS3 on any new consoles? I'm not surprised....kind of expected this since PS3 1st came out. Does that mean PS4 won't be that far ahead of Nintendo even if it launches a few years later?
No clue. The last I heard was of Timesplitters 4 but then they went and got bought by Crytek after Battlefront 3 got canned.
They did the Multiplayer for Crysis 2.

I suppose I can't be too mad since Sony is ponying up with the make-good. But I got to say, I'm going to be disappointed if I can't get this DLC for LA Noire soon.
Yeah. I had extra DLC for free for Yakuza 4. I'm hoping the store comes up in time for the Mrs. to enjoy it at least.
The store had to have been the key part of the breakdown -- it seems the rumor about a modified dev kit giving access to free content now seems the most likely -- and along with the store being opened that's where our information were exposed.
