travo (9m)
I really want to grab LA Noire and Witcher 2 tomorrow....this sucks. I'm only halfway through Fable 3.
Yeah, I'm curious about it. For you Travo, since you loved Heavy Rain as much as you did, it's a no brainer.
Ars said it was a little too easy, but that's hardly unusual these days. All of the reviews agreed that it was a new form of game though, kind of a fleshed out Phoenix Wright.
That suits me just fine. Heavy Rain put me in the mood for mystery/suspense games.
HOLY SHIT! If the EU games from Sony are any indication we are in for some goodness: (I'd pick the ones in bold if I had none of them)
As detailed on the European PlayStation Blog, all PlayStation 3 users with PSN accounts will be able to choose any two from LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, WipeOut HD/Fury, Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty and Dead Nation.
Meanwhile, PSP users get to choose two from LittleBigPlanet PSP, ModNation PSP, Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation.
EDIT: Apology accepted!
Here are the games for the US.
Infamous
LBP
Ratchet and Clank
Wipeout
Dead Nation
Which is the same as EU, I see. I'm picking up Infamous for certain and either R and C or Dead Nation.
You're passing on The Witcher 2 for Fable III? What the fuck? Turn off that shit and pre-order The Witcher 2 while you can still get a $5 discount!
One of the site's forefathers.
LBP and Probably R&C for me. Can you post it as news? I could not find the US story.
I think we get the PSP games too no?
If the US gets Pursuit Force (PSP), I can heartily endorse it. Infamous is a must-get for anyone who has not played it.
I got it from a Gamespot thread. Just a second..
Crap, EU only, though I'm sure ours will be like theirs. S0lid realized it was just for EU in his thread.
So. Pissed. Off.
I alread have LittleBigPlanet, inFamous and Wipeout.
Quest for Booty is not even a game, it's something like an expansion for Tools of Destruction. And I don't even know what Dead Nation is so it can't be that great.
Apology not accepted. Not by a longshot

You still get the PSP games at least.
Quest for Booty is a real game:
"Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty (known as Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty in most PAL regions) is the second in the Ratchet & Clank Future trilogy. It was released on PlayStation Network in Europe and North America and Australia on August 21, 2008[1] and on Blu-ray Disc in Europe on September 12, 2008[2] and in Asia on September 25, 2008, and in Australia on November 6, 2008.[5]"
Yeah I think, in absolute terms, that is actually a lot better than I thought they would give (I thought it would just be PSN only games, not proper retail ones). It would be best for me if they'd given everyone some credit instead to use as one intended as there are quite a few PSN only things I want to get and it's a real hassle for me at present (having to have PSN points cards shipped from abroad) but yeah for those that don't have them those are good games.
I may actually just get Quest for Booty (since I have the other two R&Cs) and Dead Nation (since it looks like Total Carnage)

Ahh well I have most of those but I will get Super Stardust HD, and Dead Nation. Mod Nracer and LBP for PSP
Agreed. Have you guys seen what all is included in the premium and collector's editions? It's insane (at least for people whose only previous preorder was Halo 2)! And don't forget that the GOG version has no DRM.
Go here. Get it NAO. Screw Fable.
I plan on getting inFAMOUS and I might get Little Big Planet.
But since I already have Little Big Planet 2 I might get Wipeout HD + Fury.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
But I have four of those games...
He was one of the first people back on PSN on Saturday so he is alive.
LA Noire reviews Wrap-Up:
Much better than I expected. The gameplay sounds like its terrible, its impossible to lose, the story line doesn't really change if you screw up, there seems to be nothing interesting about investigating. It just seems like its an experience unlike any we have played which is why I am getting it.
You could also take some of the games you have back to the store for credit (and then DL them to replace them if you need to).
