Bought and played Jett Rocket, thanks Robio.

It's like playing an N64 game with Super Mario Galaxy graphics. Nothing brilliant, but it's simple fun and has a few neat toys like a Back to the Future 2 hoverboard. I wish the Jet pack was more versatile and a little more responsive and nuanced. Not a bad game.

Technically it rivals Mario Galaxy, using all sorts visual effects you don't even see big companies using. Its reflections maybe even better than Mario Galaxy. Shame the art is so bland.

Soo I have 400 wii points. What can you do with this? A NES game is 500. The minimum you can add is 1000 points.

So 1400 points.

If I buy a 1000 point Wiiware game I am in the same damn position with 400 spare points.

SNES and Genesis games are 800 points so that would be 1600, no go.

So I have to like buy a 800 point 16 bit game and have 600 points which will get me a freaking 8 bit game I don't want. And be left with a spare 100.

The only way to use this redundancy is to buy a Hanabi festival VC game I don't want at 900 and then buy an 8 bit game I don't want.

That's clearly the strategy, a way to revitalize interest without changing the hardware and screwing our current success.
