I sent invitations to the people who most often posted in my Monday morning, Nintendo Download Updates or who were actively tracking my contributions at GS, so naturally a lot of them are Nintendo fans --BUT-- quite a few of them share A LOT in common with the rest of us too. A lot of CastleVania fans. A lot of Zelda fans, Metal Gear, LittleBigPlanet and even a few Little King's Story and Ogre Battle fans too!

I'm Nintendo_Ownes7 from Gamespot. I changed it to Nintyfan17 here because it is a shorter name and on Gamespot my name was going to be Nintendo_Ownes17 but it wouldn't fit.

Which one was it?
X-Com update. I have been crusing through the game now. Everyone on the team has armor, we have awesome alien weaponry, we dominate any encounter. I had about 5 field ops last night and I think a total of 3 people died in all three. The reason why everything is going so well is that there are no simple classic gray aliens anymore and those do the mind take over thing. So members like myself and Homer are now useful, instead of turning into evil versions.
My character died again, I must have the most deaths and rebirths of the all. But it was a sacrifice, I entered a UFO with an armed grenade, there were three snake aliens waiting for me. I tried to shoot them but they shot back and killed me. I then exploded and took them all with me to hell. By the next mission I had a new version of me, man I suck.
The longest survivor and our sergeant Kaz died, and he died by the hands of GG, but by choice. In this mission there were these alien creatures that if they touch you, you become a zombie and when you die a new alien comes out of your skin. So basically they multiply. Well Kaz saw one but he was a but too close. He tried to kill it but he missed leaving him completely vulnerable during the alien turn. Instead of succumbing to the horrible fate of being an alien zombie, Kaz would rather die. So GG fired the homing missile gun right into the alien but the blast was so huge it killed Kaz in the process. I swear I could hear him scream "RIIIIIIDGE RACER" on his way out.
By the end of the night we had a lot of promotions, Steel is the first ever Captain, so now he is our field leader. I believe Robio, GG, and Aspro are all sergeants now.
He's a genius. Except the Animal Crossing.
And MGS4.

I am going to make sure your characters dies for that MGS4 remark.
That is funny, the game that clearly got the crappy budget, the one that was supposed to be PC focused so they didn't put the same level of attention to it as Mass Effect and it becomes the best selling one. I think this also shows the benefits of being fully multiplatform. Here is hoping DA2 gets the full budget, incredible look that Mass Effect has.
Uh, about that...I think we should have a little talk...
I just posted a news piece on Bioware's clear intention of giving DA2 the ME2 treatment. I don't think it is the right direction.

As for the Mass Effecting of DA, I have no issue with it. I found combat to be annoying with a controller at times. A more action focus I think would be awesome. BUT I loved choosing my character in battle, especially the mages, I would hate to only be able to control one character the entire game.
