From River Rush story (sadly it appears to have nothing to do with the Carol Shaw epic, River Raid), "Jacobs' children - aged six and three - showed leveller heads. "Do my sons like Natal better than Wii? Not yet, they say. They'll need to spend more time with it at home".

I loved that boss in the first game.
Anyhow, I'm not finished with Desperate Struggle so say no more on those bosses!

i felt that was suda's tribute to metal gear solid and kojima. i loved it, but not as much as some of the visceral fights

Updates done for the moment. Lots of stuff.
So I know Hamster posted it already, but does no one have anything to say about a 3DS as powerful as the PS3/360??
If, and it's a big IF, that is true then Nintendo will have really suprised me. It might even be dangerous for a handheld market which thrives on low costs and neat ideas.
That Gamasutra article about Chocobo's Dungeon was a little harsh. In fact, it's awful. That was a damned good dungeon crawler. He keeps comparing it to the Shiren games and outside of the core Rouge-like play they are very different games.
have a feeling that this writer didn't play the game for very long. He complains about the limited weapons and armor, but fails to mention anything about the class system. The class system is the thing that sets this game apart from others in the genre. No other game in the genre lets you choose your class and it's probably the best thing the game has going for it. The more you play each class the more access to special abilities you'll have and ultimately that changes how each level is played. Not mentioning this feature is like forgetting to mention the different costumes for Mario Galaxy.
FAIL.

In a little over 3 hrs Capcom is going to be revealing its E3 lineup. Any guesses guys?
Is E3 starting this week? So this month it's E3, the World Cup and Mario Galaxy 2 releases. Is this the best month in living history?
I love this gif.
I think Nintendo knows the value of keeping prices low better than any of the other console developers. That's part of the reason why both the Wii and DS were so successful. To have them abandon that strategy just doesn't make sense. Plus that would put Nintendo in a very awkward position though in that their handheld is more powerful than their console.
I think the 3DS being as powerful as a HD system is a probably a little wishful thinking. I'm sure it could as powerful as the Wii without breaking a sweat. The Wii is already pretty small. They could shrink that down and sell if for $170.
Spyborgs 2 and Spyborgs DS.
That's what I was thinking. That level of tech in a handheld, is like what Sony would do, future proofing it or something. Nintendo is more like low cost entry, have it run 5 years and then next system.
This just reminds me how much I hate Daniel Craig as Bond.
Why?
Watching the bonus round now. Funny seeing Gertsmann talk about Zelda.
OMG Pachter says "I'm wrong" on Wii HD. Black is white, down is up, cats and dogs etc.
1. He's not Sean FUCKING Connery.
2. He always looks constipated
3. They've taken out all the fun of the Bond movies. They're good spy/action movies still, but they're just not James Bond anymore.
Anyway,Square's announcement:
The last 2 were lackluster Diablo wannabes, but it's been a while, hopefully they're doing something great with this.
PCPS360 game, HD grafix, etc, etc, not much else about it in the French press release. Oh, it's by Obsidian too.

while the pessimist fears this is true.

I take this as an insult to all constipated people.
Obsidian Entertainment is developing Dungeon Siege 3 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, new publisher Square Enix has just announced.
Under the supervision of original developer, Gas Powered Games and Chris Taylor, Dungeon Siege 3 will retain "the best features" of past series entries, while introducing a co-op mode with support for up to four players.
The new game will take place in "an immersive world where every decision you make has a consequence", the publisher says, combining "intuitive action gameplay" with the series' traditional RPG elements.
The game comes as part of Square Enix's new strategy to expand its roster of Western developers and games, it says.
"It Is an Honor and a pleasure to Be part of the legend of DUNGEON SIEGE," Said Feargus Urquhart, CEO and co-founder of Obsidian Entertainment. "This partnership with Square Enix is a milestone for the franchise and Obsidian, and the qualities of two
